I am so very excited to be back with all our friends and family. I hope others truly get something out of the weekly videos and BLOGs. Once we find rhythm of the season, I just know this season 6 of Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study, will truly be a Season like no other before!

So welcome and thank you all for returning! Thank you to all who are new members and subscribers! And thank you to those who will join and subscribe throughout the season!

Let’s continue on..

What to expect this Bible Study?

We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching.

The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying, researching, applying in life, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.

This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.

Physical and Spiritual

Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.

This is not forced or coerced, nor manipulated.

With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.

Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.

TRUTH

I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh.

In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.

So what is terminology?

Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:

Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.
term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.

Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.

Terminology differs from lexicography, as it involves the study of concepts, conceptual systems and their labels (terms), whereas lexicography studies words and their meanings.

Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.

Terminology can be limited to one or more languages (for example, “multilingual terminology” and “bilingual terminology”), or may have an interdisciplinarity focus on the use of terms in different fields.

That’s alot….. yes I know and I love it!

Awake, Awaken, Awoke

Let’s get into…..

This week’s Jewish terminology word is:  awake or waken, or

This week’s Jewish terminology word is

(active present) Awake

Pa’eel or Pe’eelah (present in the moment, controled strength ),

to be (wide)Awaken

pekookhot or be’eynayeem- intelligence or cleaverness (military mind set)

and

(to) Awaken

le’orer or me’orer in the light of (wisdom or realization )

I selected this word as the Jewish terminology word of the week because I believe the meaning of the word ‘awake’ goes hand in hand with Tehillim / Psalms 23, which will be the next BLOG Tehillim/ Psalms study, actually the first Tehillim we study for #season6.

I used 3 books to aide me in my research this lesson:

I truly enjoyed studying and researching this week’s Jewish Terminology Word.

What lead me to research specifically this word?

I am glad you asked….

Tehillim /Psalms 23 Koren Jerusalem Bible Translation
23
A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I won’t get ahead in lesson of the Psalm 23, but I have been pondering and studying the Psalms in preparation for Season 6.

One of the commentaries of this Psalm from books I am using :

Tehillim – Book of Psalms with English Translation & Commentary: With Commentary from the Talmud, Midrash, Kabbalah, Classic Commentators and the Chasidic Masters

said something that just hit me the right way! Which lead to look up the below books, chapters, and verses. I want to very much tho share these with all my dear friends and family.

Sooooo here it goes!

Isaiah 52: 1-6 (The Koren Jerusalem Bible)

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Żiyyon; put on thy beautiful garments, O Yerushalayim, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Yerushalayim: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Żiyyon.
For thus says the Lord, You were sold for nought; and you shall be redeemed without money.
For thus says the Lord God, My people went down aforetime to Miżrayim to sojourn there; and Ashshur oppressed them without cause.
Now therefore, what have I here, says the Lord, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them yell, says the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that speaks: Behold, here I am.

Song of Songs 5:2 (The Koren Jerusalem Bible)

I sleep, but my heart wakes: hark, my beloved is knocking, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.

I loved this one sooooo much I did I video on it.

and last, but not least…..

Proverbs 2 (The Koren Jerusalem Bible)

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and treasure up my commandments with thee;
so that thou incline thy ear to wisdom, and apply thy heart to understanding indeed,
if thou criest after wisdom, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
if thou seekest her like silver, and searchest for her as for hidden treasures;
then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

Awake, Awaken, Awoke

So when one learns the true terminology of a word in this case:

This week’s Jewish terminology word is

(active present) Awake-Pa’eel or Pe’eelah (present in the moment, controled strength ),

to be (wide)Awaken– pekookhot or be’eynayeem- intelligence or cleaverness (military mind set)

and

(to) Awaken – le’orer or me’orer in the light of (wisdom or realization )

The beautiful language of Hebrew (G-d’s Holy Language) is asking, not demanding, us to awaken and be present in the moment, season, or experience. Awake, use that G-dly wisdom and know that as a member of HaShem’s (The Only Living G-d’s family), you don’t stand alone. For you are a warrior… trained, prepared, made ready to overcome all obstacles and tests. And to remain awakened, now that you know HaShem, Know Torah, know Truth, if you so choose to continue on this path, you too will gain wisdom, realization, and G’W assured of everlasting life.

Omayn and Omayn.

Wasn’t that so much fun!

#thankyouHaShem !

I love learning and growing in our faith!

Thank you all for being here… and thank you everyone who does research and shares knowledge!
