Tehillim Psalms 19

Now I have posted videos reading the Psalms on our Youtube and Rumble and IG social media pages, but this seasons goal will be something more in depth, more G’W terminology filled, and G’W applicable to one’s life.

So as we…..

grow with the terminology of Tehillim 19 we will also be growing in our Hebrew and Jewish terminology Word of the Week…..

Of course I want to repeat one should always, mainly seek guidance from G-d Almighty, and with secondly from man in the study of the Hebrew and Jewish terminology word of the Week. In preforming this seeking of wisdom one can and will be more equipped to understand, relearn, and gain wisdom in the terminology of Tehillim 19.

There is no doubt in my mind after each weeks of combine lessons and Blogs, we will be equipped and passionate about truly living a Torah and Tanakh filled life each and every season of our life and therefore, enriching the lives of those we love and come into any form of contact with throughout this lifetime.

This lesson, we will learn the terminology of Tehillim/Psalms 19 and expand on that terminology in the video lesson that will be uploaded or broadcast live.

Enter your email address and click subscribe to not miss our latest and greatest blogs.

The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the Tehillim / Psalms as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately it is one’s own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D. Both the BLOGs and video lessons are meant to be coupled in order to joyfully complete a well-rounded and complete learning opportunity baseline.

This is only the beginning and a possibility of growth.

Before reciting the Psalms

Blessings Before Reciting Tehillim / Psalms

Why prayer before reciting Tehillim/ Psalms?:

Before we recite Tehillim / Psalms, it is for the benefit of the one engaging in praise to center their hearts and mind focus solely on the words they are preparing to recite. One is preparing themselves to remove the worries and cares of each day, and be solely in the presence of the Almighty, Blessed be He.

Therefore, we as an adoring bride and loyal subject to the Only Living G-d, Our King, our source, and among other beautiful aspects of our respect for our Father, the Creator of the Universe and everything therein; we aim to concentrate on Him and Him alone.

Before we begin the Study of the Tehillim / Psalms, reciting the Blessing/Prayer, we are fulfilling a mitzvah or sacred tradition on the merits of those Blessed Great Leaders who served HaShem with a joyful heart, and will, and might.; Blessing HaShem, of Glory and Truth’s beautiful Torah/Tanakh.

A Mitzvah is defined basically as:

  1. A commandment of the Jewish law.
  2. The fulfillment of such a commandment.
  3. A good, just, and / or worthy deed.

As I play the video during the Live or uploaded lessons, please try and focus on the words being recited and center oneself in the present moment. This can be difficult at first, but after some time and or many lessons, there is no doubt in my mind that we both achieve our accomplished goal, preparedness in the presence of HaShem.

Centering oneself may come easier to some than to others, be patient with oneself. It’s ok.

Just breathe.

Before each video lesson:

I want to do my utmost to ensure I am not leading others into improper practices. I want to ensure I repeat the Blessings before reciting the Psalms to HaShem, Our Merciful Father. We will play the after the Psalms Prayer at the completion of each video lesson.

Anyhow, another book I use from my home library, Tehillim Books of Psalms which has commentary from Talmud, Midrash, Kabbalah, classic commentators, and Chasidic Masters;

Tehillim 19 : video link https://rumble.com/v4i0w3r-tehillim-psalms-19-with-commentary.html

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day utters speech, and night to night expresses knowledge.
There is no speech nor are there words; their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run a race.
His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from his heat.
The Tora of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the Lord are true and are righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is Thy servant enlightened: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Who can discern errors? cleanse Thou me from secret faults.
Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be clear of much transgression.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer.

How wonderful it is when one is of a mind to look up to the heavens and praise HaShem and His glorious works. A verse comes to mind…

Genesis 1:1 IN THE BEGINNING God created the heaven and the earth.

Koren Jerusalem Bible

From the beginning, HaShem, Blessed be He, created the heavens for us. The legends of the Jews tell us that when G-d created the Heavens and the earth, there was a debate among G-d’s creations as to who would be greater and rule over the others, but also a debate about who would be closest and most precious to HaShem. I wish we exercised more of the yearning to be near and dear to G-d more often. I think it is so very sorrowful when we focus on temporary issues or, let’s be honest, senseless nonsense.

I think about of the time wasted through out a day when I give way to my own foolish “wants”, or lazy luxuries. Time wasted, that adds no or little value to my relationship with my Creator. Not all days do I focus my intentions and thoughts towards my creator. Some days I even complain of the blessings that I have. How spoiled I can be at times.

It reads in the Legends of the Jews that everything G-d creator praises Him day and night. Waiting and alert to be called upon to do G-d’s, every will and command. I can’t help be wonder what the world would be if I too were so very alert and waiting.

Us, humans, being such a self-centered and sadly obtuse species, it makes me wonder way G-d gave us all His wonderful precious creations to rule over.

Genesis 1:26 Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, as our likeness, and let him dominate the fish of the sea, the birds of the heaven, the animals, all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth

Koren Jerusalem Bible

From the looks of certain locations and peoples, I would say some of us are doing a decent job, in serving HaShem; sadly some refuse.

Deuteronomy 30:19

I call against you as eternal witnesses the heaven and the earth: That I have set before you the ways of life and death, ways that lead either to a blessing, or to adversity, and I counsel you that you…shall choose the way of life in order to gain everlasting life, you and your descendants,

Koren Jerusalem Bible

I sometimes wonder if the reason we can’t hear or are not able to understand the language of G-d’s creation is due to humans being so willfully disobedient to HaShem. There is a Jewish thought that at one time, humans could communicate with animals and understand even what a gentle breeze meant. There are Native traditions that teach the wisdom elders of the community were able to listen to G-d’s creations and follow direction communicated from G-d.

I actually love listening to the sounds of nature. I find on days when I have a natures back ground playing through out the house even in the night, I wake and feel so much more peaceful.

Below is a link to two videos I enjoy and I hope you wonderful dear friends and family do as well.

Some of us are sensitive to being guided by G-d; I don’t doubt this at all. But, I do believe many more of us could be or are capable of listening to G-d and hearing G-d’s creations if we would only learn to remove the firmament of one’s heart or mind and allow the connection to take place.

Oh yes, scientists have their grand ideas of how animals communicate and so on, but to be honest not all scientists are, let’s say, compromised. In either case, I found a cute video to share… so here you go, you wonderful amazing friends and family.

I enjoy what Shemonah Kevatzim 1:523 Shmonah Kvatzim, trans. Yaacov Dovid Shulman. 2021, states about creation singing and acknowledging HaShem as their creator and all-powerful One Source:

Kovetz 1:523
The holiness of [specific] times reveals the supernal good. [That] is all drawn from the source, the giving of thanks [associated with] the Sabbath: “[A song for the Sabbath day:] it is good to give thanks to Hashem” (Psalms 92:1-2). [These times] are revealed on every holiday and festival as components of the supernal good. Therefore, joy finds its place in them, and delight increases overall.
[The nation of] Israel knows that Hashem is good. It knows about the hidden, precious [gift of the Sabbath] in the supernal treasury, the treasure-house of the Holy One, blessed be He (Shabbat 10b).
The festivals reveal this knowledge. They elevate a person’s effectual power. They make him equivalent to his Maker in improving existence.
“All your males will appear” [at the Temple on each festival] (Exodus 23:17)—[and the Sages comment,] “In the way that [the pilgrim] comes to see [Godliness], so does he come to be seen” (Chagigah 2a).
[That refers to] two [types of] knowing: absolute good, from which joy and delight flow; and betterment, when a person betters everything. In his connection to all existence, he raises it. He improves it with the commandment of Hashem: insofar as he keeps the word of Hashem, and insofar as his mind and desire are connected to the desire of Hashem, “the supernal God, Maker of heaven and earth” (Genesis 14:22).
Great is the light of kindness in the world. Great is joy in its [heavenly] abode. Great is the light and the [spirit of] eden where it camps.
Conversely, [however,] great is the abyss of darkness, the despair and the moaning.
[And so] a person takes lights of joy and greatness, and he scatters them in the abysses and states of darkness. They shine there, and they gladden a limitless multitude of creatures.
Immediately [these creatures] rise, and their lights with them, in an animated uplifting and flight, with song, melody and exhilaration to a place of light and edenic conditions. There, joy is added to joy.
And in the chambers of a person’s heart, in the sensibility of the singer within him, Edenic rivers and holy joys are revealed. The generosity of the spirit rises, the might of the soul gives praise, and everything is praiseworthy. Everything is embraced in love, birds sing, and children are filled with exuberance. The desolate of spirit are sobered, the broken of heart proceed and their depressions are bandaged, and the foundation of life pulses in the world.
The rich exquisiteness in everything depends on the flow of the freshness of a person’s internal desire for good, in his placing the seal of goodness on his spirit and on the entire character of his life.
Exceedingly many are the details of the good, intensified are the colors whose totality and details are underscored in the commandments, in Torah, in the expression of prayer and thanks, in the unifications of thought and unifications of [Divine] Names [engaged in by] the supernal holy ones, who are higher than all and who raise all.
“Happy is the nation that is like this; happy is the nation that has Hashem as its God” (Psalms 144:15).

Koren Jerusalem Bible

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer.”

So how can one meditation and focus on HaShem and G-d’s Torah, to ensure a faithful use to the greatest capability? What is meditation? How does one meditate?

What is Jewish Meditation? “Truly, you are where your mind is,” taught the Baal Shem Tov. BY RABBI SAM FEINSMITH, states:

What does mindfulness meditation do? It enables us to directly observe our mental habits with curiosity and discernment instead of getting swept up into them. As a serious practitioner of a variety of Jewish spiritual practices for over 20 years — including prayer, character refinement, Torah study, observance of mitzvot, and a variety of meditation techniques — I have found no practice more transformative than direct investigation and cultivation of the mind through the practice of mindfulness meditation.

Prayer might open my heart to wonder, gratitude, reverence, and humility. Character refinement practices might make me more generous, patient, and non-reactive. Study of sacred text might enable me to drink from a multigenerational font of Jewish counsel for good living. And normative Jewish observance might incline me toward greater attunement with a mysterious transcendent consciousness that calls me to holy living.

Loving G-d, is simple; unfortunately it is humans who complicate the matter. If only we could be more like the birds or heavens or waters.

Omayn and Omayn.

When one acknowledges G-d as their complete source in all aspects of one’s life, they enter into a covenant with the Blessed Holy One.

And  HaShem our G-D spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
Yivarechecha Adonai viyishmirecha
Ya’er Adonai panav elecha veechuneka
Yeesa Adonai panav elecha viyasem lecha shalom
“The L-d bless you and keep you;
The L-d make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The L-d lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

FOR THOSE THAT ARE NEW TO THIS BIBLE STUDY.

Welcome, the following is a brief review of this Bible Study.

1. This BLOG post will have the resources and sources links for the Season 6 Bible Studies.

2. All Books used and Readings from during Live Bible Study can be found on Our Website: Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace. Live in the Bible Study Blogs portion of the website.

3. After Live Bible Studies have completed: I will upload to Rumble and Youtube, and post link in this BLOG. How we conduct Bible Studies here:

We believe in One and Only One G-D. HaShem; The G-D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We do not and will not Pray in any others name or Praise any other, but HaShem.

Exodus chapter 20: 2-14.God spoke all these words, saying:I the LORD am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:You shall have no other gods besides Me.You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the LORD your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me, but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

We believe G-D has called each of us to search matters out. (It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, And the glory of a king to plumb a matter.Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth, Is the mind of kings—unfathomable. Proverbs 25:2 -3)

This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure. We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh. We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man.

Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time.

The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D.

Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6The effect of humility is fear of the LORD, Wealth, honor, and life.Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked; He who values his life will keep far from them.Train a lad in the way he ought to go; He will not swerve from it even in old age.

Ezekiel 18: 20 thru 22The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone. Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die.None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live. Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live.

May HaShem, Blessed be He, continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life. O’Amein and O’AmeinA little about me: I love HaShem, TORAH, and Tanakh!!!!! I am not perfect!!!!

If we meet: We talking about Torah, drinking tea or coffee, and what books are out about HaShem! And maybe over some kosher pizza… maybe over some kosher steak…make over super sweet kosher cake ……. have a fun laugh about you guess it… Torah! Or on a bike, or  during a hike,  or while riding on a train in the rain as the rain falls nicely on the plain in Spain….., but either way…..We’ll be talking about TORAH!!!!

What is import to me:……..A relationship with Our Father  HaShem, Our Merciful Creator, Savior, and Wise King. Live in Torah, live with Family and community of Tribe.

My thoughts: We may not be perfect, but we study, we learn, we laugh, & we grow; we try try and have the courage to try again.

My goals: To learn, and grow, and share Love of Torah in HaShem with others who are willing or open to hearing. HaShem is my refuge, my strength, my confidant, and my true resting place.I have been using the minds.com account and Rumble (Live Bible Study video Post: Rumble  )as main accounts.

Lastly, NEVER LOSE FAITH, Hope, and have Courage!!!!Let’s continue to Fear and Love HaShem like a משיח and Pray.

PRAY FOR OUR NATION, enemies, fellows, and many lost Sons and Daughters of Torah to return to HaShem, Blessed be He, for ever and ever Amen.  HaShem is with me … I shall not be afraid!!!!!

Blessings and Prayers.

with Love truly,

Marie
