Welcome back to
Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study.
This is Season 7 of Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace. I hope everyone enjoyed this seasons BLOGS so far:
Bereshit/ Genesis ch 1: In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth ,
Bereshit/ Genesis ch 2: When Adam met Eve ,
Bereshit Genesis ch 3: Lilith big mad and the Serpent beguiled Chava.
In which, we reviewed and discussed Merciful HaShem , the Blessed Holy One singing the world into creation, the formation of Adam- A’dam and Eve/ Chava , Chava giving- “in” into The Serpent; next we shall discuss how those events lead to a little thing called #history or his’story.
We will discuss some of the Jewish legends behind the story of creation and the environment of the world and its inhabitants that proved the flood necessary, in chapters 4, 5, 6, and maybe 7. #sosatisficing, as well as review some more misinterpreted Christian texts regarding the several books of the Torah and Tanakh or other Jewish teaching/thoughts.
This week we will continue discussing several chapters in one BLOG and possibly a couple of videos, depending on the length. Or maybe we’ll just make it a Bible Study strength and endurance marathon?! Who knows?!
We are going to do something different. We want to go through the key points I believe will point us in preparation for the later lesson of reviewing cases of #stolenvalor. Therefore, we will not be reviewing the entire chapters 4, 5, 6, and maybe 7 in their entirety on the BLOG, but it is the intention to do so during the live or uploaded video lesson.
We shall :
Ask the Torah how many Adams were created?
Define created?
Define formed?
Compare and contrast created and formed-
Compared and contrast 1 of creation:
Who or what was destroyed during the flood… all the creations or all the formed beings?
What to expect this this Season 7 and Bible Study Lesson:
We will begin to review from the beginning of the First Book of Moses the Word of the Holy Blessed One, Bereshit/Genesis. Throughout each chapter, we will review, learn, examine, and study. This will lead us to examine this season, unveiling as we investigate cases of Stolen Valor. Along with this great task, we will continue to increase our intro Hebrew vocabulary, with an intro to Hebrew terminology, coupled with a version of The Tanakh (the actual Jewish Bible, that means no “new testament”) introduction, and will always be rooted in Torah Spiritual Teaching.
The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching. The books, sources, and resources or references that we share here at mariespeaksgodsgrace.live, are not commonly found or promoted by the internet, therefore we do our best to provide the Torah filled information for others not to be led towards secular or pagan or idolatry propaganda lifestyles.
The books I use to aide me in my research this Season 7 / Lesson are from my personal home library:
***I am not paid to endorse nor am affiliated***
The some of the sources we will be using are listed below for others to enjoy on their own time.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying Torah , researching Torah sages information and teachings, applying in life the lessons taught by our sages of Blessed memory and today, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.
This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.
Physical And Spiritual
Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.
This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.
With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.
Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.
TRUTH
I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh. To be clear I believe all Truth comes from the G-d of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and was given to us through His Prophet Moses to teach to the world and all those who love Him, know, Him and call Him by name and live by His Torah.
In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.
So What Is Terminology?
Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:
Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.A term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.
Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.
Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.

Let’s get into….. Today’s Torah verses of study
Blessing of the Torah:
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to be engrossed in the words of Torah.
HaShem our God, please make the words of Your Torah pleasant in our mouths and in the mouths of Your people Israel. And may we and our descendants [and the descendants of our descendants] and the descendants of Your people the House of Israel, all know Your Name and be students of Your Torah for its own sake.
Blessed are You, HaShem Who teaches Torah to His people, Israel.
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe Who chose us from among all the peoples and gave us His Torah. Blessed are You, HaShem, Giver of the Torah!
Ask the Torah how many Adams were created?
What is the definition of created and what is the definition of formed?
Defined created:

- to cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes.
- to evolve from one’s own thought or imagination, as a work of art or an invention
The Hebrew word for create is bara ( בָּרָא)- Bara is the transliteration of a Hebrew word that happens to be the second word in the first lines of the bible. The word literally means ‘to create‘, but it is special in that the verb is only used when discussing the actions of God. Only God can bara, which gives the word a greater, more nuanced meaning.
Defined formed:
The Hebrew word yāṣar (יָצַר) means “to be formed” or “to be created”. It can also mean “to mold into a form,” especially like a potter, or “to determine” figuratively. For example, in Genesis 2:7, God is described as forming Adam from the dust of the earth using the word yāṣar. This term is specific because it always refers to work done on an existing substance.
In Genesis, there are three main verbs used to describe God’s work of creation: yāṣar (“form”), bara (“create”), and asah (“make”). These words have similar meanings but different emphases. For example, bara can imply “creation” in the sense of “coming into being” or “something from nothing”. Asah and bara are often used interchangeably in the Bible to refer to the creation of the sun, moon, stars, sea creatures, trees, rivers, man, heavens, and earth.
Now that we understand the definitions of created and formed, let’s look at; the Comparison of created and formed.
Compared and contrast 1 of creation:
Creation is explained as exampled by:
Demension of creation
Volume 1:2, Legends of the Jews {1909}
ADAM–MAN AND THE WORLD With ten Sayings God created the world, although a single Saying would have sufficed. God desired to make known how severe is the punishment to be meted out to the wicked, who destroy a world created with as many as ten Sayings, and how goodly the reward destined for the righteous, who preserve a world created with as many as ten Sayings.
When G-d gave A-dam a soul
When God was about to put a soul into Adam’s clod-like body, He said: “At which point shall I breathe the soul into him? Into the mouth? Nay, for he will use it to speak ill of his fellow-man. Into the eyes? With them he will wink lustfully. Into the ears? They will hearken to slander and blasphemy. I will breathe her into his nostrils; as they discern the unclean and reject it, and take in the fragrant, so the pious will shun sin, and will cleave to the words of the Torah” The perfections of Adam’s soul showed themselves as soon as he received her, indeed, while he was still without life. In the hour that intervened between breathing a soul into the first man and his becoming alive, God revealed the whole history of mankind to him. He showed him each generation and its leaders; each generation and its prophets; each generation and its teachers; each generation and its scholars; each generation and its statesmen; each generation and its judges; each generation and its pious members; each generation and its average, commonplace members; and each generation and its impious members. The tale of their years, the number of their days, the reckoning of their hours, and the measure of their steps, all were made known unto him.
Continuing on in the Torah verses:
Bereshit Genesis ch 4: 1-2 The man knew his wife, Chavah. She conceived and she gave birth to Kayin, and she said, I have obtained a man with Adonoy.
She gave birth again, to his brother Hevel. Hevel became a shepherd, but Kayin was a worker of the soil.
Fast forward to……
Berehit Genesis ch 4: 6-7 Adonoy said to Kayin, Why are you angry? Why are you depressed?
Is this not so—if you improve, there is forgiveness, but if you do not improve, sin rests at the opening. Its desire is unto you, but you can dominate it.
Which leads us to…..
Bereshit Genesis ch 4: 9-15 Adonoy then said to Kayin, Where is your brother, Hevel? [Kayin] said, I know not, am I my brother’s keeper?
He said [to Kayin], What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.
Now you are cursed from the ground that had to open its mouth to accept your brother’s blood from your hand.
When you work the ground, it will no longer give you of its strength. You will be unsettled, and a wanderer on the earth.
Kayin said to Adonoy, My sin is too great to bear.
Behold, today You have banished me from the face of the earth, and from Your face I am to be hidden. I am to be unsettled and a wanderer on the earth; whoever finds me, will kill me.
Adonoy said to him, Therefore, whoever kills Kayin, revenge will be taken on him [Kayin] sevenfold. Adonoy placed a mark on Kayin, so that whoever would find him would not kill him.
After reviewing the Torah verses let’s ask some questions:
Did man created idolatry ? yes.
Well, what is idolatry?
and
How is idolatry practiced?
1 the worship of anything created, made, formed, or even thought of as a god
2 immoderate attachment or devotion to something
When was idolatry first created?
Let’s continue reading the Torah and then we will review and discuss.
Bereshit Genesis ch 4: 25-26 Adam knew his wife again, and she gave birth to a son, and named him Sheis, Because Elohim has granted me another offspring in place of Hevel, for Kayin had killed him.
To She is also was born a son, and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call [idols] by the name Adonoy.

Take a look around….. what are idols commonly made of?
They are made of gold, silver, wood, and stone, and are graven images, unshapen clods, and, being the work of men’s hands, unable to speak, see, hear, smell, eat, grasp, or feel, and powerless either to injure or to benefit (Scholz, Götzendienst und Zauberwesen,” pp. 45 et seq.). Idols were either designated in Hebrew by a term of general significance, or were named according to their material or the manner in which they were made. They were placed upon pedestals, and fastened with chains of silver or nails of iron lest they should fall over or be carried off (Isa. xl. 19, xli. 7; Jer. x. 14; Wisdom xiii. 15), and they were also clothed and colored (Jer. x. 9; Ezek. xvi. 18; Wisdom xv. 4). At first the gods and their images were conceived of as identical; but in later times a distinction was drawn between the god and the image. Nevertheless it was customary to take away the gods of the vanquished (Isa. x. 10 et seq., xxxvi. 19, xlvi. 1; Jer. xlviii. 7, xlix. 3; Hosea x. 5; Dan. xi. 8), and a similar custom is frequently mentioned in the cuneiform texts.
Some Forms of Idol-Worship.
Temples, altars, and statues were erected to the gods, and figures of oxen and of other animals are also mentioned (Ezek. viii. 10 et seq.).
In Israel the worship of high places was a favorite form of polytheistic cult, as is shown by the Book of Kings, where the reign of each monarch is judged chiefly from the standpoint of his participation in the worship of idols, so that the words “but the high places were not removed” form a stereotyped phrase.
Prayer was offered to the gods (Ex. xx. 5, xxiii. 24, et passim), the hands were stretched out to them (Ps. xliv. 21 [A. V. 20]), they were invoked by name (I Kings xviii. et seq., xxiv.), their names were praised (Josh. xxiii. 7), knees were bent before them (I Kings xix. 18), incense was burned in their honor (I Kings xi. 8 et passim), they were invoked in the taking of oaths, and sacrifices were immolated to them (Jer. vii. 18; Ex. xxxiv. 15), the victims including even human beings, such as the offerings made to Moloch.
The custom of worshiping stars and idols by throwing kisses to them is mentioned in Job xxxi. 13.
The exchange of clothes, by which men put on women’s clothes and women donned men’s garments, was an idolatrous custom, and was consequently forbidden (Deut. xxii. 5).
Human hair also served as a sacrifice, and the prohibition against shaving the head or having writing burned into one’s body (Lev. xix. 18, 27; xxi. 5; comp. Jer. ix. 26, xxv. 23, xlix. 32) was recognized by the Talmud (Mak. iii. 6) and by Maimonides (“Moreh,” iii. 37; “Yad,” ‘Ab. Zarah xii. 5) as connected with idol-worship.
There were, moreover, many other forms of worship, and numerous commandments of the Pentateuch, even though they omit the term “abomination” as a synonym of idolatry, refer to polytheistic worship; for idolatry was deeply rooted in the national character, as is shown by the many proper names compounded with names of idols, so that it became necessary to make every effort for its eradication.
#stolenvalor
Now that we have read how those who perform acts of idolatry decorate their idols, let’s read some sections from the Christian Bible.
Please, understand I hold that the Christian Bible is a book of idolatry as well as book the tells the plans of idol worshippers. That being explained, I will expose the idolatry Stolen Valor of the Christian Bible and its attempts to yoke on the Righteous Torah.
Idol worshippers decorating their idol and affixing for display to not fall:
Jesus clothed in scarlet/purple, nailed to the cross, and……
According to the New Testament accounts, Jesus was clothed in a purple robe by Roman soldiers before his crucifixion. This act was a mockery, as they were ridiculing Jesus’ claim to be the King of the Jews. But was this an act of mockery, or were the Romans displaying proper respect to their idol in worship and decoration?
- Mark 15:17: The soldiers dressed Jesus in purple and placed a crown of thorns on his head.
- Matthew 27:27-28: The soldiers put a scarlet robe on Jesus, which some translations render as “purple” or “faded purple”.
- John 19:1-2: The soldiers clothed Jesus in a purple robe.
It’s essential to note that the Gospels provide different descriptions of the robe’s color, with Matthew mentioning scarlet, Mark and John describing it as purple, and no explicit mention of the robe’s color in Luke. However, this discrepancy may be attributed to the varying perspectives and writing styles of the authors rather than intentional contradictions.
Either way they said what they said!
After being clothed in purple, Jesus was led out to be crucified. The soldiers nailed him to the cross, where he would ultimately give his life as a sacrifice for humanity’s sins.

by John. “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Revelation 17:1-6.
Below is a slideshow of several of the images we have shared here on the Bible Study, that reveal idolatry and paganism. We hope this helps others to be able to identify several idols that are in plain sight.
It is my firm belief that the entire Christian Bible – and so we are clear, I do mean the “Old and New Testament” – is an abomination. Certain books of the New Testament are secret codes and public declarations of what the demonic system (cloaked) made public in Christianity aka Luciferianism intends to afflict upon all who are upright in heart and Torah.
Let’s continue …….
Bereshit Genesis ch 5: 1-2 This is the book of the generations of man. On the day Elohim created man. He made him in the likeness of Elohim. Male and female He created them. He blessed them and named them man [Adam] on the day that they were created.
What day did HaShem, The Blessed Holy create man, in His likeness, male and female?
What day did G-d, bless them man {Adam} on the day that they were created?
The sixth day:
Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, as our likeness, and let him dominate the fish of the sea, the birds of the heaven, the animals, all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
Genesis 1: 26-28
And thus Elohim created man in his image. In the form of Elohim, He created him, male and female, He created them.
Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, and dominate the fish of the sea, the birds of the heaven, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.
If you assume, as a point of reference, that Adam was “born” (created) in year zero, Noah was born 1,056 years later. Adam lived to be 930 years old, so he died only 126 years before Noah was born.

Which leads us to reviewing the story of Noah or Noach.
Enoch (Hebrew: חֲנוֹךְ meaning “initiated”) is a name in the Hebrew Bible used by two separate figures who lived during the generation of Adam. The first Enoch was the son of Cain. The second Enoch was a descendant of Seth, the third son of Adam, and great-grandfather of Noah (Genesis 5:22-29).
Fun little fact about me.
Sometimes, I like to think of what kind of man I would have liked to be matched with in the Torah or Tanakh. Now, many women of course think… oooooh give me a Boaz, or a Samson, or Solomon. But no, not me. I’ll take a Jeremiah who was single his entire life, by the way. Since Jeremiah would have been unavailable, I would say give me a Noah, please.
The one righteous of all his generation: check

Handy with tools: check
Help me survive a worldwide flood: check
And he likes to sip on some wine: You got a deal here!
It’s the little things that matter in life and world wide judgements after all.
Not, but seriously let’s take a look back.
We got creation. Then transgressions. Then it’s the blame game. Then fallen angels and evil giants, and now this?! No wonder the Torah and the Angels were pleading with Almighty G-d not to create man. But let’s be fair, right… Angels are the ones who created the giants, soooo the flood is mostly their fault when you think about it?!?
Previously, we spoke about haayot, or spiritual beings, which many automatically associate with angels or demons. We also discussed that there actually are several categories of haayot or spiritual beings. Now that we have a baseline, let’s look into what separates Angels, Malakim, and Haayot, spiritual beings.

Maimonides describes a 10-level hierarchy of angels, with different types such as holy creatures (chayot hakodesh) flying serpents and chariot bearers. All of these forms are alive and know God intimately, Maimonides writes, but while they all know God more deeply than human beings do, even the highest among them, knowing more than all those below, cannot know the full truth of God.
In Judaism, angels (Hebrew: מַלְאָךְ, romanized: mal’āḵ, lit. ‘messenger’, plural: מַלְאָכִים mal’āḵīm) are supernatural beings[1] that appear throughout The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), rabbinic literature, apocrypha and pseudepigrapha, Jewish philosophy and mysticism, and traditional Jewish liturgy as agents of the God of Israel. They are categorized in different hierarchies. Their essence is often associated with fire. The Talmud describes their very essence as fire.
Angels are singular and unchanging in their essences, Steinsaltz writes, and can be either good or evil (demons), the latter the product of human beings doing the opposite of a mitzvah — harboring evil thoughts or committing acts of wickedness. Like good angels, evil angels also act in a dual fashion — bringing evil from the spiritual to the material world by inspiring sin or causing suffering and punishment, while also receiving energy from the misdeeds of human beings. “To be sure, were the world to root out all evil completely, then as a matter of course the subversive angels would disappear, since they exist as permanent parasites living on man,” Steinsaltz writes. “But as long as man chooses evil, he supports and nurtures whole worlds and mansions of evil, all of them drawing upon the same human sickness of soul.”
Haayot- or spiritual beings

Jewish tradition is opposed to magic, divination, and sorcery. Exodus 22:18 reads: “You shall not allow a witch to live.” And Deuteronomy 18:10-11 is more elaborate: “Let no one be found among you who consigns his son or daughter to the fire [i.e. who offers their child as a sacrifice, as some neighboring religions did], or who is an augur, a soothsayer, a diviner, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, or one who consults ghosts or familiar spirits, or one who inquires of the dead.” Magic of this sort was and still is a major no-no. The point of these Biblical prohibitions is that there are correct ways to relate to God (namely, prayer and sacrifice), and then there are incorrect ways — magical ways — to try to manipulate divine power or call upon the supposed power of other gods.
So, despite the prohibition against magic, Jewish tradition and lore is actually full of monsters, demons, witches, and other shady characters with dubious dark powers. Many of them come straight from the Bible. Here’s a quick sampling:
Asmodeus
Ashmedai or Asmodeus was, according to Zoroastrian and also Jewish legend, the prince of the demons. He appears in the Book of Tobit (one of the ancient Jewish religious books that was not included in the Jewish Bible, but is retained in Jewish tradition) where he torments a woman named Sarah.
Dybbuk
Dybbuks are possessor demons from early modern Jewish mythology (they first appear in 16th c. writings). They were thought to be the souls of dead people who temporarily possessed the living in order to accomplish certain tasks.
Golem
The myth of the golem originates in the idea that human beings might be able to form living creatures from clay, just as God made Adam. The most famous golem is the one made by Rabbi Judah Loew, the Maharal of Prague, who inscribed a clay man with the word emet meaning truth, and then spoke the divine name and brought him to life. The golem protected the Jewish community from persecution, but was also difficult to control and ultimately dangerous, so the rabbi deactivated him by erasing the first letter of the word emet, leaving the word met “dead.”
Leviathan
In Jewish tradition, the Leviathan is a terrifying primordial sea monster, perhaps having the form of a giant crocodile, sea serpent, dragon, or whale. The Leviathan is referenced throughout the Hebrew Bible, in Psalms, Job, and Isaiah and, according to tradition, is very ancient, having been created by God at the beginning of time. Leviathan has a counterpart land monster, called Behemoth. In some version of the legend, Leviathan is the female mate of Behemoth. In others, God originally created two Leviathans, male and female, but slew the female so they could not reproduce and destroy the world. There is also a Jewish legend that in the messianic era the Leviathan will be slain and the righteous will dine on its flesh.
Lilith

In Jewish lore, Lilith was actually the very first woman ever created — before Eve. Lilith, whose name is related to the Hebrew word laila, meaning night, was feared because she was believed kill women in childbirth and snatch their babies. She was also known for her uncontrolled sexuality, and thought to force mortal men to lie with her so she could give birth to more demons.
Nephilim
According to Genesis 6, in the early generations of humanity, some divine beings (“elohim” understood by many ancients to be angels) were so attracted to human women that they came down to earth and procreated with them. The offspring produced of these unions were known as Nephilim. These semi-divine “heroes” or “giants” stalked the earth for generations, to God’s dismay. But what became of them is as murky as their origins.
Witch of Endor
In first Samuel 28, King Saul, the first king of Israel, is in trouble. He has been fighting unsuccessfully against Israel’s primary enemy, the Philistines. He has sought military advice from God through the usual channels: dreams, prophecy, and the oracular stones belonging to the High Priest, the urim and tummim. But the Philistines are still devastating Israel on the battlefield. Previously, Saul had expelled all witches and necromancers from Israel, but now he is desperate. He dons a disguise and goes in search of an underground practitioner of the dark arts. Saul finds the Witch of Endor who helps him to contact the soul of the dead prophet Samuel, the very one who anointed Saul king. But rather than give him winning military advice, the ghost of Samuel berates Saul for turning to necromancy and foretells his death in battle the very next day.
I believe we are now prepared to begin to read and G’W understand Genesis Bereshit ch 6.
Genesis Bereshit ch 6:
It came to be when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, that daughters were born to them.

The sons of the rulers saw that the daughters of man were fair and they took for themselves wives from whomever they chose.
The above are probably some of the most disputed verses in the Torah.
Well אֱלֹהִים (n-m) heb Sefaria.org gives the photo as a definition to settle this dispute.
Were the בְנֵי־הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ Angels, spiritual beings, kings and rulers or just wealthy men?
I tend to lean on what is written in the Legend of the Jews and the Book of Enoch, to form my conclusion.
Moving on:
Verse 3 of Genesis ch 6: Adonoy said, My spirit will not continue to judge man forever, since he is nothing but flesh. His days shall be a hundred and twenty years.
There were giants ( נְפִיל the Nephilim) on the earth in those days, and also later, when the sons of the rulers came to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mightiest ones who ever existed. [They were] men of renown.
This got me thinking and thinking. I think I found something here….
***Many believe the 1st Day of Atonement began during the time of Moses, our Blessed Teacher. However, I believe the first Yom Kippur was when Adam and Chava and the Serpent were in the garden, and these verses before the Flood are perhaps the second Yom Kippur.***
Verse 5 of Genesis ch 6: Adonoy saw that man’s wickedness had increased on the earth, and that every inclination of his heart was only for evil, all day long.
Adonoy was comforted that He had made man on the earth, and He grieved in His heart.
Adonoy said, I will obliterate mankind which I have created from the face of the earth, from man to beast, to the creeping things and to the birds of heaven, for I regret that I made them.
But Noach found favor in the eyes of Adonoy.

Story time!
The Legend of the Jews, in my opinion fills in the blanks concerning Fallen Angels, Giants, Evil Spirits, and why the judgement took place and why the flood was necessary.

THE FALL OF THE ANGELS – The depravity of mankind, which began to show itself in the time of Enosh, had increased monstrously in the time of his grandson Jared, by reason of the fallen angels. When the angels saw the beautiful, attractive daughters of men, they lusted after them, and spoke: “We will choose wives for ourselves only from among the daughters of men, and beget children with them.”
Their chief Shemhazai said, “I fear me, ye will not put this plan of yours into execution, and I alone shall have to suffer the consequences of a great sin.” Then they answered him, and said: “We will all swear an oath, and we will bind ourselves, separately and together, not to abandon the plan, but to carry it through to the end.” Two hundred angels descended to the summit of Mount Hermon, which owes its name to this very occurrence, because they bound themselves there to fulfil their purpose, on the penalty of Herem, anathema. Under the leadership of twenty captains they defiled themselves with the daughters of men, unto whom they taught charms, conjuring formulas, how to cut roots, and the efficacy of plants. The issue from these mixed marriages was a race of giants, three thousand ells tall, who consumed the possessions of men.
When all had vanished, and they could obtain nothing more from them, the giants turned against men and devoured many of them, and the remnant of men began to trespass against the birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, eating their flesh and drinking their blood. Then the earth complained about the impious evil-doers.
But the fallen angels continued to corrupt mankind. Azazel taught men how to make slaughtering knives, arms, shields, and coats of mail. He showed them metals and how to work them, and armlets and all sorts of trinkets, and the use of rouge for the eyes, and how to beautify the eyelids, and how to ornament themselves with the rarest and most precious jewels and all sorts of paints.
The chief of the fallen angels, Shemhazai, instructed them in exorcisms and how to cut roots; Armaros taught them how to raise spells; Barakel, divination from the stars; Kawkabel, astrology; Ezekeel, augury from the clouds; Arakiel, the signs of the earth; Samsaweel, the signs of the sun; and Seriel, the signs of the moon.
While all these abominations defiled the earth, the pious Enoch lived in a secret place. None among men knew his abode, or what had become of him, for he was sojourning with the angel watchers and holy ones. Once he heard the call addressed to him: “Enoch, thou scribe of justice, go unto the watchers of the heavens, who have left the high heavens, the eternal place of holiness, defiling themselves with women, doing as men do, taking wives unto themselves, and casting themselves into the arms of destruction upon earth.
Go and proclaim unto them that they shall find neither peace nor pardon. For every time they take joy in their offspring, they shall see the violent death of their sons, and sigh over the ruin of their children. They will pray and supplicate evermore, but never shall they attain to mercy or peace.” Enoch repaired to Azazel and the other fallen angels, to announce the doom uttered against them. They all were filled with fear. Trembling seized upon them, and they implored Enoch to set up a petition for them and read it to the Lord of heaven, for they could not speak with God as aforetime, nor even raise their eyes heavenward, for shame on account of their sins. Enoch granted their request, and in a vision he was vouchsafed the answer which he was to carry back to the angels.
It appeared to Enoch that he was wafted into heaven upon clouds, and was set down before the throne of God. God spake: “Go forth and say to the watchers of heaven who have sent thee hither to intercede for them: Verily, it is you who ought to plead in behalf of men, not men in behalf of you I Why did ye forsake the high, holy, and eternal heavens, to pollute yourselves with the daughters of men, taking wives unto yourselves, doing like the races of the earth, and begetting giant sons?
Giants begotten by flesh and spirits will be called evil spirits on earth, and on the earth will be their dwelling-place. Evil spirits proceed from their bodies, because they are created from above, and from the holy watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they will be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits they will be named. And the spirits of heaven have their dwelling in heaven, but the spirits of the earth, which were born upon the earth, have their dwelling on the earth. And the spirits of the giants will devour, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and cause destruction on the earth, and work affliction.
They will take no kind of food, nor will they thirst, and they will be invisible. And these spirits will rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them. Since the days of murder and destruction and the death of the giants, when the spirits went forth from the soul of their flesh, in order to destroy without incurring judgment–thus will they destroy until the day when the great consummation of the great world be consummated.
And now as to the watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, say to them:
You have been in heaven, and though the hidden things had not yet been revealed to you, you know worthless mysteries, and in the hardness of your hearts you have recounted these to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth. Say to them therefore: You have no peace!”
Can others, see why I have my conclusions? Or perhaps why I enjoy reading fork-lore?
Back to the Torah Chumash Genesis Bereshit ch 6:
Noach

Verse 9: These are the progeny of Noach. Noach was a righteous man, flawless in his generations; Noach walked with Elohim.
Noach fathered three sons, Sheim, Cham and Yafes.
The earth was corrupt before Elohim, and the earth was filled with violent crime.
Elohim saw the earth and beheld that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its way on the earth.
Elohim said to Noach, The end of all flesh has come before Me. For the earth is filled with violent crime because of them, and so, I will destroy them with the earth.
Make for yourself an ark of cedar wood. Make the ark into compartments and caulk the inside and outside with tar.
This is how you should make it; the ark’s length shall be three hundred amos, its width fifty amos.
Make a skylight for the ark, and finish it to one amoh at the top. Place the opening of the ark in its side. Make a lower deck, a second and a third deck.
Behold I am bringing the flood waters on the earth, to destroy all flesh in which there is the breath of life, from under the heavens. Everything that is on the land will perish.
I established My covenant with you. You shall go into the ark, you, your sons, your wife and your son’s wives, with you.
From all living things, from all flesh, two of each shall you bring to the ark, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.
From the birds of their kind, from the animals of their kind, from every creeping thing of the earth of its kind, two of each will come to you to be kept alive.
You shall take for yourself from all [the] foods that are eaten, and gather it to yourself, and it will be food for you and for them.
Noach did so. All that he was commanded by Elohim, he did.
Why a Flood was necessary ?
My theory is that G-d was re-koshering the world to make it fit for humans or mankind, and all other life with His breath, to dwell in and upon.
Bereshit Genesis ch 7: 1 Adonoy said to Noach, Come into the ark, you and your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before Me, in this generation.
Vayomer Adonay le-Noach bo-atah vechol-beytcha el-hatevah ki-otcha ra’iti tsadik lefanay bador hazeh.
*** Romantic Commentary: When Merciful HaShem was conducting a review of the entire earth and all the inhabitants, Noach is before HaShem for review. The Holy Blessed One, was able to see in the face of Noach, His reflection. Noach was still despite everything the world had become, a formed being of The Most High G-d, that His Ruach was still able to dwell within and upon.***
Sefaria.org definition of righteous:
Verse 2 of Genesis ch 7: Of every [ritually] clean animal, take to yourself seven pairs, male and its mate. Of every animal that is not clean, [take] two, the male and its mate.
Also of the birds of the heaven, [take] seven pairs, male and female; to keep seed alive upon the face of the earth.
Because in another seven days I will bring rain on the earth [and it will rain] forty days and forty nights, and I will obliterate every living substance that I have made, from the face of the earth.
Noach did all that Adonoy commanded him.
*** I wonder what made Noah and his family worthy righteous? Like , how was it possible for them to remain righteous? I look around this world and I see some many wonderful people(of course to my definition); I couldn’t image a world so full of darkness one only one was righteous. #nothankyou***
Genesis 7:17-24 There was a Flood on the earth for forty days. The waters increased and lifted the ark, and it rose [high] above the earth.
The waters were powerful and increased greatly over the earth, and the ark moved on the surface of the waters.
The waters were very powerful over the earth, and they covered all the high mountains which were under all the heavens.
Fifteen amohs above them [the mountains] did the waters prevail and they covered the mountains.
All flesh that moved on the earth perished; birds, animals, beasts, and all creeping creatures that creep on the earth and every man.
All that has a breath of the spirit of life—everything on dry land—died.
[He] obliterated every being that was on the surface of the ground; from man to animals, to creeping creatures, and to the birds of the heaven. They were obliterated from the earth. Only Noach and those with him in the ark survived.
The waters were powerful over the earth for one hundred and fifty days.

Reads like a little folklore and fantasy novel, right?! Personally, I believe folklore is more true than history books.
If anyone else is interested in reading more folklore about the flood… Here is The Giant of the Flood. It’s just a little fairytale, but I quite enjoy the tale.
Here is the audio version for those who like audio.
Well, I hope you enjoyed…. I hope others check out the Legends of the Jews…. in my opinion it’s better than watching t.v. or something like that. xoxo

The Priestly Blessing
And HaShem our G-D spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
Yivarechecha Adonai viyishmirecha
Ya’er Adonai panav elecha veechuneka
Yeesa Adonai panav elecha viyasem lecha shalom
“The L-d bless you and keep you;
The L-d make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The L-d lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
