I asked myself…….

How does one listen Listen – shmiah and Selah- lift up and hear with their spirit (ruach)?

Answer : Torah

Am I able to command my soul (nef fesh) to hear and obey my Creator?

Answer: Yes.

How? By doing ones best to learn and relearn and grow in following the Torah.

How does one go about truly removing the evil inclination from ones self?

Answer: You guessed it…… Reading the Torah and living the Torah to the best of ones ability and learning every day and every season of one life, in all aspects of ones life.

Tehillim Psalms 125

#justaclip
King David, ask G-d to separate “crooked ways and ….the workers of iniquity.” I don’t see any races, social classes, or geographic destination in the text, this might suggest neither did King David have those in mind when he wrote the Tehillim 125, and neither does HaShem when HaShem grants and fulfills King David’s request. My question is why then do we?

Hebrew And Jewish Terminology Word Of The Week: Hypocrite

Just a #clip
Ask oneself? Is there someone exhibiting hypocritical behavior or tendency in your own workplace, business, or place of worship, prayer group, or relationship? Are you at peace? Is there peace? Do people get along better when that person is not around? Does that person seem to always be attacking or speaking evil of others or a specific person?

If so………

Don’t support a hypocrite. Don’t encourage the hypocrite to continue wrongdoing and to set evil against your home, finances, or life.

Some seeking improvement or to better their faults, is not a true hypocrite. For they feel remorse and seek to make atonements of wicked ways. They still have a desire to lessen any animalistic form of the hypocritical nature that plagues them.

Tehillim Psalms 16

As a child of G-d, servant of HaShem, and King appointed and anointed by the G-d of Israel, with the very oil used during the times of Moses, by Prophet Samuel, King David, is Praise(s) shvakheem recount (sfeer-ah ot khoz eret) G-d for His lineage in Torah, but also calling in the merits of the righteous of blessed memory of whom he honors for G-d’s glory. Not worshiping those who came before him, but honoring their memory or service to G-d and His Torah.
