About Me: Rheena Velia of Speak G‑d’s Grace
Welcome, beloved seekers of truth! I’m Rheena Velia, the heart behind Rheena Velia Speaks G‑d’s Grace, a spiritually Torah-centered space devoted to honoring HaShem—the One True Living G‑d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This platform is a labor of love, obedience, and divine calling—rooted in the eternal truth of the Torah and Tanakh, seasoned with ancient wisdom and historical awareness.
Here, we engage deeply in Bible study, Hebrew learning, and uncovering spiritual insight through sacred text and tradition—offering tools for genuine transformation, not just information. Our aim is to lift the veil, empower the seeker, and glorify the Most High in all things.
with love,
Rheena Velia
Devarim Ch 6: Hear, Acknowledge, and Observe (Shema)
What to expect this lesson?
This lesson we will continue in Moses’ of Blessed memory speech to the Nation of Israel before His death and the Nation of Israel carrying on to the Promise Land. In Devarim chapter 5, Moses review in fine detail the ten commandments to the new young and now grown older generation. In Devarim chapter 6 Moses stresses the importance once again.. again.. again, the importance of adhering to the Commandments, Laws, Ordinances, and Principals of the L-rd, especially once in the Land of Israel.
Devarim (Deuteronomy) Ch 5: By the way…… The Law!
What to expect this lesson?
This lesson we will continue in Moses’ of Blessed memory speech to the Nation of Israel before His death and them carrying on to the Promise Land. Moses goes over the ten commandments to the next generation. This review of the 10 commandments is a review for the younger ones who are now adults and a possible first time hearing for those who had been born during the 40 years wondering in the desert. Moses stressing the importance of adhering to the commandments of the L-rd is another wonderful act of obedience on his part and Grace on our Father in Heavens part.
For the Portion of a Portion Deuteronomy (Vaetchanan) began at Devarim ch 3 verse 23 and will run thru Devarim chapater 7 verse 11. We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual ….Jewish Bible) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching. I have added to the Blog news letter the Blessings Before and after reading the Torah.
HaShem. He is G-D! There is none beside Him!
Those who have or had witnessed G-D’s power, majesty, and might; are held to a higher standard of accountability. Those persons and nations face greater consequences for transgressing G-D’s Laws and ordinances. Far, greater punishments then of nations or persons, who have never known Him or been exposed to the Truth and Teaching of the Holy Torah.
Those who were shown, lead towards, or even taught the Torah and rejected it, fall under the category of judgement similar to those nations that had rejected the Torah and denied HaShem full of Glory just in Biblical times.
That is not to say a person doesn’t have a chance at redemption after proper heart felt Teshuvah, or Repentance, of sins and sinful living…but as explained before everything is up to a persons individual free will / use of intentions. We are all in control and held accountable at some point of our acceptance or rejection of HaShem and His Torah.
Devarim (Deuteronomy) ch 3: Come one man….Let’s Talk this out
This lesson we will continue in Moses’ of Blessed memory speech to the Nation of Israel before His death and them carrying on to the Promise Land. For the Portion of a Portion Deuteronomy (Devarim) will end at verse 22 of chapter 3, from which we shall continue into Vaetchanan Portion of the Torah review which will run from Devarim ch 3 verse 23 thru Devarim chapater 7 verse 11. We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual ….Jewish Bible) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching. I have added to the Blog news letter the Blessings Before and after reading the Torah.
Why I love Hadar.org and how it had helped aid my converting to Judaism journey.
A couple have reached out and asked how have a learned soooooo fast..Hebrew Prayer.
While I wouldn’t say 5 years is fast I would say it’s be rather slow…(and I am for sure still learning)
Why slow?
Well, for me it has been difficult to find references and resources. When all the resources I had had been chrisitan and i was leaving christianity.. I had trouble navigating the research both mind and will to Jewish sources. I didn’t know where to start or begin. So of course… I did what I always do; I ask my Father….in Heaven.
For context and reference or review, let’s rewind:
Devarim chapter 2: You’re offered Torah! You’re offered Torah! Everyone is offered the Torah, but not everyone accepts….
Brothers the children of Esau?
How odd to hear HaShem Blessed Glorious One, be so protective of the descendant of the one who gave his firs born birthright away for a bowl of lentil soup?!? How odd to hear G-D Almighty, be so loving to someone’s descendants that we read about in Malachi chapter 3 verses 1 thru 3 :The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say: ‘Wherein hast Thou loved us?’ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? Saith the LORD; Yet I loved Jacob;
But Esau I hated, And made his mountains a desolation, And gave his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness.
Continuing on…..
