Discerning the Test of Man and the Test of G-d: A Jewish Perspective

As we navigate the complexities of life, we often face tests and challenges that are difficult to interpret. Are these pressures emerging from a human source—a distortion fueled by ego, fear, or darker spiritual forces? Or are they Divine invitations toward growth and refinement? In this article, we explore the difference between the test of…

Deuteronomy ch 33: Blessing of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses

Shalom Children of G-d! Welcome back to Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study. This lesson, we continue with the final days of the life of Moses, our Teacher, may peace be upon him. He closes with a speech and song to the Nation of Israel, the captains of the tribes, the elders, and the officers,…

Deuteronomy ch 26:…..callout to HaShem, your G-D, ” An Aramean tried to destroy my forefather.”….. oh HaShem!”

There is wonderfully so much to unpack in these final verses to close the Bible Study for today. But, I believe that the sum of all my thoughts is to point to the fact… HaShem has conditions for one to be His “treasured people”. Some assume incorrectly that their family name will hold the weight of their violations against Torah. Others believe that their fame or community influence will somehow cause the G-d of justice to overlook their disobedience or harsh and cruel treatment towards another. When the point of the matter is… G-d wants us all to treat everyone and everything with kindness, dignity, and respect. Everything He created is a part of Him and serves Him and His glorious purpose.

Therefore, ignorant hatred towards anyone violates G-d’s commandments as a whole. Having bias and showing favoritism violates G-d’s law of balanced weights and seeking truth and justice.

By the way, the month of Elul is coming up… Some of us should start making that Teshuva now if anything in these Bible Studies of revealing truths has touched anyone’s nefesh.

HaShem. He is G-D! There is none beside Him!

Those who have or had witnessed G-D’s power, majesty, and might; are held to a higher standard of accountability. Those persons and nations face greater consequences for transgressing G-D’s Laws and ordinances. Far, greater punishments then of nations or persons, who have never known Him or been exposed to the Truth and Teaching of the Holy Torah.

Those who were shown, lead towards, or even taught the Torah and rejected it, fall under the category of judgement similar to those nations that had rejected the Torah and denied HaShem full of Glory just in Biblical times.

That is not to say a person doesn’t have a chance at redemption after proper heart felt Teshuvah, or Repentance, of sins and sinful living…but as explained before everything is up to a persons individual free will / use of intentions. We are all in control and held accountable at some point of our acceptance or rejection of HaShem and His Torah.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) ch 3: Come one man….Let’s Talk this out

Why I love Hadar.org and how it had helped aid my converting to Judaism journey.

A couple have reached out and asked how have a learned soooooo fast..Hebrew Prayer.

While I wouldn’t say 5 years is fast I would say it’s be rather slow…(and I am for sure still learning)
Why slow?
Well, for me it has been difficult to find references and resources. When all the resources I had had been chrisitan and i was leaving christianity.. I had trouble navigating the research both mind and will to Jewish sources. I didn’t know where to start or begin. So of course… I did what I always do; I ask my Father….in Heaven.

For context and reference or review, let’s rewind:

Devarim chapter 2: You’re offered Torah! You’re offered Torah! Everyone is offered the Torah, but not everyone accepts….

Brothers the children of Esau?
How odd to hear HaShem Blessed Glorious One, be so protective of the descendant of the one who gave his firs born birthright away for a bowl of lentil soup?!? How odd to hear G-D Almighty, be so loving to someone’s descendants that we read about in Malachi chapter 3 verses 1 thru 3 :The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.

I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say: ‘Wherein hast Thou loved us?’ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? Saith the LORD; Yet I loved Jacob;

But Esau I hated, And made his mountains a desolation, And gave his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness.

Continuing on…..

Numbers chapter 27: Our Father had no sons, I AM Woman here me ROAR!!! Inheritance, (Name and All) is Theirs too; says the LORD!!

The Division of the Land

It was the fortieth year since the exodus from Egypt, shortly before the Jewish people were to enter the Promised Land. G‑d had informed Moses that each tribe’s territory would be determined, among other things, by lottery. Each man in the tribe would receive a parcel of land in his tribe’s territory. Upon the man’s death, his sons would inherit his property, thus guaranteeing that each plot would remain in the family to which it was originally assigned.

One man, Zelophehad, of the tribe of Manasseh, had only daughters. Zelophehad himself died in the desert (more on that soon), and his daughters were worried that they would not receive a share in the land of Israel. They therefore turned to Moses and requested that they be granted the land that would have gone to their father.

The Torah describes the scene:
