Tehillim / Psalm 23

There is no doubt in my mind we will be equipped and passionate about truly living a Torah and Tanakh filled life each and every season of our life and therefore enrich the lives of those we love and come into any form of contact with throughout this lifetime.

Today’s Lesson

This lesson, we will learn the terminology of Tehillim/Psalms 23 and expand on that terminology in the video lesson that will be uploaded or broadcast live.

Jewish terminology word of the week: pa’eel, pekookhot, le’orer

This week’s Jewish terminology word is: 

(active present) Awake-

Pa’eel or Pe’eelah (present in the moment, controled strength ),

to be (wide)Awaken-

pekookhot or be’eynayeem- intelligence or cleaverness (military mind set)

and

(to) Awaken –

le’orer or me’orer in the light of (wisdom or realization )

Jewish calendar 5784/ 2024

I enjoy using the Jewish Calendar and looking up (to remember, let’s be honest) the 5 w’s of each observance, especially the history.

The website that I use is Hebcal. I enjoy being able to add the holidays to my google calendar. Adding the Jewish calendar to my google calendar has help me to prepare and stay on track.

I wanted to share the links and sources with others just in case.
