What to expect this Bible Study?

We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching.

The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying, researching, applying in life, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.

This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.

Physical And Spiritual

Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.

This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.

With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.

Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.

TRUTH

I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh.

In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.

So What Is Terminology?

Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:

Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.
A term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.

 Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.

Terminology differs from lexicography, as it involves the study of concepts, conceptual systems and their labels (terms), whereas lexicography studies words and their meanings.

Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.

Terminology can be limited to one or more languages (for example, “multilingual terminology” and “bilingual terminology”), or may have an interdisciplinarity focus on the use of terms in different fields.

I truly enjoyed studying and researching this week’s Jewish Terminology Word.

(noun) Travlers-מְטַיֵּל metayel, 

Example: We (persons or groups or company with) are visitors touring or traveling through a place. Not permanent residents. Sometimes like a vacation or temporary abode. A group of people on a journey.

(to) Travel-נָסַע nasa

Example: We are active in our movements as a means of reaching our destination. This can involve preparing our journey to our desired location, with a specific estimation of what we might find once we arrive, but being open to altering one’s plans as situations or opportunities arise or are presented.

and

(multiple)Travels-נסיעות no se oot

We are well experienced having completed multiple journeys or various modes. Throughout those journeys with multiple cultures and people groups of which we can attest to first-hand knowledge of the society’s dynamics and practices of a people group therein. We have completed several journeys for an extensive period of time and dwelled in a variety of locals and fully been involved in the land and the lands with people.

What lead me to research specifically this word?

I won’t get ahead in lesson of the Lesson we will soon be completing regarding our Jewish and American #History #funfacts of the week for Season 6, but here is a #teaser:

One the books I have in my home library which we will be using for this weeks historical fun fact is

The Jewish People’s Almanac by David C. Gross. I purchased this book of my own means from thriftbooks.com. (link is provided for those interested in purchasing). I so enjoy reading about history not common spoken about and researching topics or story discussed. As well as discovering new sources to review that aide (in my opinion) in corrected previous mis-educations.

Well, reading through the book I came upon the story of Conquistador Hernando Alonso, and him being created as being the first Jewish Conquistador in North America. This peaked my interest for a verity of reason. One mainly being I believe that I know there were Spanish Jews here prior to this Conquistador.

Perhaps I was mistaken?!?

It happens……..

In any case I found his story interesting. And liked I explained before we will go over in a greater detail why I enjoyed his story during the Jewish and American History video that should post later this week G’W.

Anyhow his story lead me to looking up this week’s Hebrew and Jewish terminology word of the week- Traveler.

You know my dear friends and family something that just hit me the right way! Which lead to look up the below books, chapters, and verses. I want to very much tho share these with all my dear friends and family.

Sooooo here it goes!

I asked myself are there Bible verses that speaks of travels?

The answer is: of course!

Judes ch 5: 5-7 reads:
The mountains melted from before the Lord, that Sinay before the Lord God of Yisra᾽el.
In the days of Shamgar the son of ῾Anat, in the days of Ya᾽el, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through crooked byways.
The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Yisra᾽el, until I Devora arose, I arose a mother in Yisra᾽el.

II Samuel ch 12: 2-6 Nathan the Prophet tells Kind David a tale:
The rich man had very many flocks and herds:
but the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and reared: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own bread, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was like a daughter to him.
And there came a traveller to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to prepare it for the wayfaring man that was come to him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and prepared it for the man that was come to him.
And David’s anger burned greatly against the man; and he said to Natan, As the Lord lives, the man that has done this is worthy to die:
and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

and last but not least:

Judges 19 :1-22 Tells a tale of travels that experience both beauty, lust, vanity, and friendship, but also danger, which sadly can sometimes be us in prayer, free will, and any things really; if G-d forbid we use such manners with an incorrect heart, mindset, or purpose.
Judges 19:1-22 reads:


Now it was in those days,
when king there was none in Israel:
there was a Levite man, sojourning on the flanks of the highlands of Efrayim.
He took himself a concubine woman, from Bet-Lehem [in] Yehuda.
But his concubine whored against him;
she went from him to her father’s house, to Bet-Lehem [in] Yehuda,
and she remained there for a period of four months.
And her husband arose and went after her,
to speak to her heart, to have her return
—his serving-lad was with him, along with a brace of donkeys.
She brought him into her father’s house,
and when the girl’s father saw him,
he rejoiced meeting him;
his father-in-law, the girl’s father, prevailed upon him,
so that he stayed with him for three days,
and they ate and drank and spent the night there.
Now it was on the fourth day
that they started-early in the morning, and arose to go,
but the girl’s father said to his son-in-law:
Refresh your heart with a bit of bread;
afterward you may go!
So they stayed and ate, the two of them together, and they drank.
And the girl’s father said to the man:
Now consent to spend the night, so that your heart may be in good-humor!
The man arose to go,
but his father-in-law pressed him,
so that [once] again he spent the night there.
He started early on the morning of the fifth day to go,
but the girl’s father said:
Now refresh your heart
and tarry until the lengthening of the day!
So the two of them ate.
Then the man arose to go, he and his concubine and his serving-lad,
but his father-in-law, the girl’s father, said to him:
Here now, the day is weakening toward sunset;
now spend the night,
[for] here, the day is declining!
Spend the night here, so that your heart may be in good-humor;
you may start early on the morrow on your way, so that you may go back to your tent.
But the man would not spend the night;
he arose and went and arrived at [a place] in front of Yevus—that is Jerusalem—and with him was a brace of loaded donkeys,
and his concubine was with him.
They were near Yevus, and the day was exceedingly low,
so the serving-lad said to his lord:
Come now, let us turn aside to this Yevusite town and spend the night in it!
But his lord said to him:
We will not turn aside to a foreign town
in which none of the Children of Israel are here;
we will cross over as far as Giv’a.
And he said to his serving-lad:
Come, let us go near one of the places
and spend the night in Giv’a or in Rama.
So they crossed over and went,
and the sun came in on them alongside Giv’a, which belongs to Binyamin.
They turned aside there, to come in to spend the night in Giv’a,
and they came and sat in the town square,
but no one was gathering them into the house to spend the night.
Now here, an old man came in from his work, from the fields, at sunset
—the man was from the highlands of Efrayim, and he was sojourning in Giv’a,
while the men of the place were Binyaminites—
and he lifted up his eyes and saw the man, the wayfarer, in the town square;
the old man said:
Where are you going, and from where do you come?
He said to him:
We are crossing from Bet-Lehem [in] Yehuda as far as the flanks of the highlands of Efrayim
—I am from there;
I went to Bet-Lehem in Yehuda,
and to my house I am going back,
but no one will gather me into the house!
Yes, there is straw, yes, fodder for our donkeys, and yes, there are bread and wine for me and for your handmaid and for the serving-lad with your servants;
there is no lack of anything.
The old man said:
Peace be to you!
Surely whatever you lack shall be on me,
for sure do not spend the night in the square!
He brought him into his house
and provided for the donkeys;
they washed their feet
and ate and drank.
They were putting their hearts in good-humor
when here, the men of the city, base men, encircled the house;
they kept on beating against the door
and said to the man, the old house owner, saying:
Bring out the man who came into your house—
we want to know him!

How can we related the Hebrew and Jewish terminology word of the Week:

(noun) Travlers-מְטַיֵּל metayel, If G-d forbid we don’t have or keep the righteous company our travels can lead to danger. If we, G-d forbid venture into unrighteousness or unrighteous places we could find ourselves injured both physically or spiritually. And G’d forbid we could negatively impact others. That negative impact could negatively affect and effect later generations.

(to) Travel-נָסַע nasa , If we G-d willing travel with the preparation of Torah and Truth in HaShem the Holy blessed one, we are assured that what ever troubles or events arise, the end means will work out for the good of all the involved participates. How we travel, what we use to travel is just as important as who we allow to travel with us. We have full control of the company we keep in most case, but we certainly have control of what we are engaged in in all cases.

and

(multiple)Travels-נסיעות no se oot , As we walk throughout this life there may come difficult times as well as easy strolling times. The travels or noseoot, we journey are G-d willing will be in line with what G-d deems fit or kosher or upright in His Torah. In this we will gain experiences that lead to a glorious outcome. If are travels are not what we are benefiting from that leads us closer to Torah and to HaShem, perhaps we should try a different path, keep and make for us different company, and thus reach a more desirable and agreeable for filled journey.

Our travels in this world are many, G-d, willing and they are for a purpose, why not make that purpose initial? Why not prepare with Torah, travel with Torah, and experience the promises of Torah?

I pray that each and everyone of us make a decision today.

Let us be :

(noun) Travlers-מְטַיֵּל metayel, Who travel with righteous (not perfect) travelers who prepare in Torah.

(to) Travel-נָסַע nasa Travel, determined that no one and nothing with deter us from our mission or goal of improving oneself based off experiences in Truth and reality, but open to learning more.

(multiple)Travels-נסיעות no se oot And share this experience of our travels with others.
