Hebrew and Jewish Terminology word of the week: Outcry or to cry out- Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah

Shalom Children of G-d!

Welcome back to Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study

This week’s Jewish terminology word is

So welcome and thank you all for returning! Thank you to all who are new members and subscribers! And thank you to those who will join and subscribe throughout the season! Most of all and most importantly:

Let’s continue on..

What to expect this Bible Study?

We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, intro Hebrew terminology, Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and Torah Spiritual Teaching.

The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying, researching, applying in life, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.

This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.

Physical And Spiritual

Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.

This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.

With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.

Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.

TRUTH

I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh.

In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.

So What Is Terminology?

Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:

Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.

term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.

Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.

Terminology differs from lexicography, as it involves the study of concepts, conceptual systems and their labels (terms), whereas lexicography studies words and their meanings.

Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.

Terminology can be limited to one or more languages (for example, “multilingual terminology” and “bilingual terminology”), or may have an interdisciplinarity focus on the use of terms in different fields.

Let’s get into…..

This week’s Jewish terminology word is: outcry-Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah

I used 3 books to aide me in my research this lesson:

I truly enjoyed studying and researching this week’s Jewish Terminology Word.

Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah

What lead me to research specifically this word?

I am glad you asked….

A happy accident. I actually study for Tehillim 43, but when I was creating the poster or thumbnail, for this lesson…. I accidentally posted 53 on IG. I figured there are no accidents and just went with it, and I am happy I did.

This weeks Hebrew and Jewish Terminology Word of the week actually came from my study of Tehillim 43. And although I made this happy little mistake with creating a thumbnail of Tehillim 53, I do feel to outcry still applies. I also believe this week’s terminology word is applicable to the Jewish and American History #funfacts of the week for Season 6, but here is a #teaser: I won’t get ahead in the lesson of the Lesson we will soon be completing regarding our Jewish and American #History. Here is the thumbnail of the reading and commentary I will be going over in the video still pending.

In a portion of last week’s American and Jewish #funfacts of the week, we discussed the Lost Tribes of Israel as well as Spanish Jewish that traveled to the continent of North America as well as the Jewish Conquistador Hernando Alonso, who is credited as being the first Jew to land. The thumbnails are hyperlinked for those who may have missed the uploads or live streams.

One the books I have in my home library which we will be using for this weeks historical fun fact is:

The Jewish People’s Almanac by David C. Gross. I purchased this book of my own means from thriftbooks.com. (link is provided for those interested in purchasing). I so enjoy reading about history not common spoken about and researching topics or story discussed. As well as discovering new sources to review that aide (in my opinion) in corrected previous mis-educations.

Anyhow, another book I use from my home library, Tehillim Books of Psalms which has commentary from Talmud, Midrash, Kabbalah, classic commentators, and Chasidic Masters; has the opening paragraph on page 82b and it reads:

“This short psalm continues upon a theme of its predecessor, the outcry of the exiles. They can thus be viewed as one unit.”

(Radak; Meiri)

The word outcry had me thinking and asking some questions.

  • Do I outcry to G-d?
  • How does one effectively outcry to the creator of the Universe?
  • When and where is it appropriate to outcry, to Our Father in Heaven?
  • Can one outcry too much?
  • Is there a case when ones outcry wouldn’t be considered or heard?

You know my dear friends and family something that just hit me the right way! Which lead to look up the below books, chapters, and verses. I want to very much tho share these with all my dear friends and family.

Sooooo here it goes!

I asked myself are there Bible verses that speak of outcry or to cry out- Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah?

The answer is: of course!

  • Exodus 11:6 And there will be a great outcry in the whole land of Egypt, the like of which had never been and the like of which will not be again.
  • Exodus 22:22 If you do mistreat them, I will heed their outcry as soon as they cry out to Me,
  • Ezra 3:12 many of the priests and the Levites and the heads of the fathers’ [houses], the elders, who had seen the first Temple [in its glory] — when this Temple was founded before their eyes, wept with a great outcry

and last but not least:

  • Nehemiah 5:1 There was a great outcry by the common folk and their wives against their brother Jews.

How can we related the Hebrew and Jewish terminology word of the Week:

Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah – to cry out or outcry

Sometimes in life ones Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, may more like a whimper or a shy. Other times, G-d forbid ones Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, might be in righteous anger. Many times, especially with technology ones Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, may be posted on social media.

With so many different forms of communication to day and yesterday, we might feel we aren’t heard, seen, or understood.

Sometimes, we might feel sooooo alone in a situation and we have not one person we can turn to or help aid us.

I want to share this Truth of Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, with you dear friends and family.

G-d is waiting…….

Yes, He who spoke all into existence. He, who gave all life. He who sees the end of a situation before it’s even began, is waiting.

On what?

Our Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah!…. to Him.

My questions:

  • Do I outcry to G-d?
  • How does one effectively outcry to the creator of the Universe?
  • When and where is it appropriate to outcry, to Our Father in Heaven?
  • Can one outcry too much?
  • Is there a case when ones outcry wouldn’t be considered or heard?

Yes, I do out cry to G-d.

We effectively Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, to G-d with our very soul He alone gave us.

And I know some might not agreed with this, but it doesn’t matter where, when, or how often all that matters is that you do… Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah.

Now, all that being said… there is a catch….

To the question:Is there a case when ones outcry wouldn’t be considered or heard?

Sadly, the answer is yes, there are cases when ones outcry wouldn’t be considered or heard.

Jeremiah ch 19: 1-13 reads:

Thus said GOD: Go buy a jug of potter’s ware. And [take] some of the elders of the people and the priests,

and go out to the Valley of Ben-hinnom—at the entrance of the Harsith Gate —and proclaim there the words that I will speak to you.

Say: “Hear the word of GOD, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Thus said GOD of Hosts, the God of Israel: I am going to bring such disaster upon this place that the ears of all who hear about it will tingle.

For they and their ancestors and the kings of Judah have forsaken Me, and have made this place alien [to Me]; they have sacrificed in it to other gods whom they have not experienced, and they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent.

They have built shrines to Baal, to put their children to the fire as burnt offerings to Baal—which I never commanded, never decreed, and which never came to My mind.

Assuredly, a time is coming—declares GOD —when this place shall no longer be called Topheth or Valley of Ben-hinnom, but Valley of Slaughter.

“And I will frustrate the plans of Judah and Jerusalem in this place. I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, by the hand of those who seek their lives; and I will give their carcasses as food to the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth.

And I will make this city an object of horror and hissing; everyone who passes by it will be appalled and will hiss over all its wounds.

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall devour one another’s flesh—because of the desperate straits to which they will be reduced by their enemies, who seek their life.”

Then you shall smash the jug in the sight of those who go with you,

and say to them: “Thus said GOD of Hosts: So will I smash this people and this city, as one smashes a potter’s vessel, which can never be mended. And they shall bury in Topheth until no room is left for burying.

*******remember the whole First commandment thing…. yep…..

That is what I will do to this place and its inhabitants—declares GOD. I will make this city like Topheth:

the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall be impure, like that place Topheth—all the houses on the roofs of which offerings were made to the whole host of heaven and libations were poured out to other gods.”

Those, who have read the entire Book of Jeremiah know the last chapter or redemption chapter, but let’s ask our self…..

Do we really want to get soooo far off track, off Torah, so wicked that G-d Almighty, see fit to bring such a lastly judgement and justice on us?

I surely don’t.

I am far from perfect, but the consequences of angering G-d, really does scared me. Not to mention, ugh He’s my Father…I love Him.

I want G-d to be pleased with me. Not for shiny things that break or fade, but because HaShem is honestly the Love of my Life.

I know some might believe that G-d doesn’t have feelings, but I beg to differ. I think and believe that I know He does.

And in believing I know G-d has feelings, thoughts, and emotions; I want my ABBA proud of me, delighted in me, satisfied in my efforts and my attempted works. I want my outcry – Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah, to be to G-d in joy, not sorrow or regret.

For hope: Jeremiah ch 29: 8- 14
For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Yisra᾽el; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that are in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to the dreams which you encourage them to dream.
For they prophesy falsely to you in my name: I have not sent them, says the Lord.
For thus says the Lord, That after seventy years are accomplished at Bavel I will take heed of you, and perform my good word towards you, in causing you to return to this place.
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will hearken to you.
And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.
And I will allow myself to be found by you, says the Lord: and I will restore you from your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places into which I have driven you, says the Lord; and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be driven away.

The hope in this is a trust…. despite every and anything don’t be afraid to cry out or outcry Kreel’ah ot le’ezrah to G-d….. He is waiting.

Omayn and Omayn.
