Let’s continue on..
What to expect this Bible Study?
We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, with an intro to Hebrew terminology, coupled with A version of The Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and always rooted in Torah Spiritual Teaching.
The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching.
My goal is to help and assist others by studying, researching, applying in life, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.
This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.
Physical And Spiritual
Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.
This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.
With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.
Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.
TRUTH
I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh.
In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.
So What Is Terminology?
Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:
Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.A term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.
Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.
Terminology differs from lexicography, as it involves the study of concepts, conceptual systems and their labels (terms), whereas lexicography studies words and their meanings.
Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.
Terminology can be limited to one or more languages (for example, “multilingual terminology” and “bilingual terminology”), or may have an interdisciplinarity focus on the use of terms in different fields.
Let’s get into…..
This week’s Hebrew and Jewish terminology words are:
Solar- sheemsheet or solaree= meaning sunshade
Solar energy- energeeyat ha-shemesh= example the energy produce or linked to the orbit of planets or luminaries in the heavens
and
Solar System- ma’arekhet ha-shemesh=all sources created by the One True Living G-d, in all dimensions of the heaven and plains of existence both spiritual and physical
I used 3 books to aide me in my research this lesson:
I truly enjoyed studying and researching this week’s Jewish Terminology Word.
What lead me to research specifically this word?
I am glad you asked….
I was doing some mindless scrolling on the social media pages, when I came across a post about a solar eclipse that is due to appear on April 8, 2024. So I did a Brave browser search and found more information, because, well, I love researching…
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will occur across North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada.234 The eclipse will begin over the South Pacific Ocean and will be visible along a narrow track stretching from Texas to Maine.4 The duration of totality will be up to 4 minutes and 27 seconds, almost double that of the 2017 Great American Eclipse.0 A partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous U.S. states.4 The path of totality for this total solar eclipse runs through Mexico, the United States, and Canada.12 It will leave continental North America at 5:19 p.m. EDT.3
I had an odd feeling about this eclipse. I don’t remember in previous years there being so many eclipses occurring in such a great amount or as frequently. This, coupled with a variety of reports of odd colors of the sky, just has me wondering what is going on in the heavens.
This lead me to do more research and I found:
Solar eclipses have a long history in human history. Legend has it that two astrologers were executed for failing to predict a solar eclipse, which occurred on October 22, 2134 BCE, making it the oldest solar eclipse ever recorded in human history.2 In 1778, astronomer David Rittenhouse observed a total solar eclipse in Philadelphia. In 1780, Harvard College commissioned the Reverend Samuel Williams to observe a total solar eclipse predicted for October 27, 1780, but the Colonies were still at war with Great Britain.0 In 1605, astronomer Johannes Kepler gave a scientific description of a total solar eclipse.2 In 1948, archeologists uncovered a clay tablet from the ruins of the ancient Syrian port city of Ugarit that is likely the first written record of a solar eclipse. According to Herodotus’s Histories, Greek philosopher Thales of Miletus was the first to accurately predict the time and place of a solar eclipse, which legend has it halted a five-year war between the Lydians and Medes.1
Did you know that…..
The word eclipse comes from ekleipsis, the ancient Greek word for being abandoned.
A christian site ( so take it with caution) states:
The August 21 total solar eclipse in the United States and the numerous biblical parallels to Israel
Koenig: The following was prepared by my assistant Max Obeidin. To say the least, this is very interesting and fascinating information.
The Biblical Significance of the August 21 total solar eclipse
- The eclipse will produce a 67-mile-wide path across America; 1967 was the year Israel regained Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. The property lines are often called the pre-67 lines in peace talks.
- The maximum level of eclipse coverage will be over Washington, DC at 2:42 PM (about 81 percent). UN Resolution 242 calls for Israel to give up land for an Arab state that is Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. The resolution is the foundation for the peace talks.
- The suns will set in Jerusalem at the time the eclipse’s shadow of totality arrives in Oregon on August 21.
- The eclipse line divides the land of the US; the Israeli-Palestinian peace process calls for the land of Israel to be divided
- The paths of the August 21, 2017 and April 8, 2024 total solar eclipses create a huge X, with a phase of totality of 9000 square miles the size of New Jersey. Israel is often said to be the size of New Jersey.
Other examples given in the site states:
One major significance about the 1918 eclipse and the 2017 eclipse was that they shared a very similar path to each other. Both of them traced a path of totality from the Northwest to the Southeast in the United States without touching other nations (except the Bahamas in 1918). Some people noticed the similarity in 2017 and even pointed out that the last time America had a coast-to-coast eclipse had been almost a century before in 1918. So, what is the significance of the paths of the two eclipses when compared to one another? The answer in part at least is that they are both related to a worldwide pandemic. From 1918 and through 1920, the world was plagued by the horrible Spanish flu. Some estimates say that tens of millions of people died during that outbreak. The 2017 eclipse seems to have been an indicator of the coming Coronavirus later in President Trump’s term given that the eclipse approximately paralled the path of the 1918 American eclipse which occurred at the time of the Spanish Flu outbreak and also because in a total solar eclipse the sun’s hidden corona appears, which may have been symbolic of the coming Coronavirus.
I was able to find a video that suggests the crossover lines of the 2017 and 2024 solar eclipses will be over the Arkansas fault line in North America.
The specific relevant content for this request, if necessary, delimited with characters: So what will happen during this next eclipse? I don’t know. I guess some things we just have to wait and see.
Moving on with the study:

credit to my study source:
Anyhow, another book I use from my home library, Tehillim Books of Psalms which has commentary from Talmud, Midrash, Kabbalah, classic commentators, and Chasidic Masters; has the commentary paragraph by page 33a and 33b paragraph commentary p19:2 and it clarifies:

“The heavens recount the glory of the Almighty”- by their very existence and activity, not with words (Metzudot). According to Rashi, they cause us to recount the glory of the Almighty. Rambam, however, reads the verse quite literally. In his view, the stars and the planets are conscious being. They recognize the One who spoke the world came into being, and each according to its capacity offers praise to the Creator, as do the angels. Thus: the heavens, literally, recount the glory of the Almighty (Guid to the Perplexed II, chs 4-5; Mishneh Torah, Hilcholt Yosodei Hatorah 3:9)

If we raise our eyes to ponder the heavens, we encounter two phenomena that point to the Creator. First, we note the consistent and unfaltering movement of the celestial bodies. They are like a spring whose waters never cease. Secondly, although each body has its own unique orbit, they all work in tandem to create night and day, as well as the seasons of the year. Clearly, an infinite power, greater than all of them, animates and directs them. Indeed, the heavens recount the glory of the Almighty (Yahel Or).
oooooh I love studying from this book!
If others would like to read other writing about G-d’s creations I have two great books I love and have read below.
Legends of the Jews is an original synthesis of a vast amount of midrashim from rabbinic literature and other ancient sources compiled by Rabbi Louis Ginzberg in the early 20th century. Originally written in German, the book begins with creation of the world and contains stories through the period of Esther. Ginzberg did not quote midrashim, but rather paraphrased and rewrote them into one continuous narrative that covered four volumes, followed by two volumes of footnotes and an index.
and
The Book of Enoch (also 1 Enoch;[a] Hebrew: סֵפֶר חֲנוֹךְ, Sēfer Ḥănōḵ; Ge’ez: መጽሐፈ ሄኖክ, Maṣḥafa Hēnok) is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, ascribed by tradition to the patriarch Enoch who was the father of Methuselah and the great-grandfather of Noah.[1][2] The Book of Enoch contains unique material on the origins of demons and Nephilim, why some angels fell from heaven, an explanation of why the Genesis flood was morally necessary, and a prophetic exposition of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah. Three books are traditionally attributed to Enoch, including the distinct works 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch.
None of the three books are considered to be canonical scripture by the majority of Jewish or Christian church bodies.
The older sections of 1 Enoch (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) of the text are estimated to date from about 300–200 BCE, and the latest part (Book of Parables) is probably to 100 BCE.[3]
Modern scholars believe that Enoch was originally written in either Ge’ez or Hebrew, the languages first used for Jewish texts; Ephraim Isaac suggests that the Book of Enoch, like the Book of Daniel, was composed partially in Ge’ez and partially in Hebrew.[4]: 6 No Hebrew version is known to have survived.
Various Ge’ez fragments found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as Koine Greek and Latin fragments, are proof that the Book of Enoch was known by Jews and early Near Eastern Christians. This book was also quoted by some 1st and 2nd century authors as in the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs. Authors of the New Testament were also familiar with some content of the story.[5] A short section of 1 Enoch (1:9) is cited in the New Testament Epistle of Jude, Jude 1:14–15, and is attributed there to “Enoch the Seventh from Adam” (1 Enoch 60:8), although this section of 1 Enoch is a midrash on Deuteronomy 33:2. Several copies of the earlier sections of 1 Enoch were preserved among the Dead Sea Scrolls.[2] Today, The Book of Enoch only survives in its entirety in Ge’ez (Ethiopic) translation.
It is part of the biblical canon used by the Ethiopian Jewish community Beta Israel, as well as the Christian Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Other Jewish and Christian groups generally regard it as non-canonical or non-inspired, but may accept it as having some historical or theological interest.
I want to add verses from the Book of Devarim Deuteronomy ch 18: 9-22 for others so there is no confusion:
When thou art come to the land which the Lord thy God gives thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
There must not be found among you anyone that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a witch,
or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things are an abomination to the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God drives them out from before thee.
Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
For these nations, which thou shalt dispossess, hearken to soothsayers, and to diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God has not permitted thee so to do.
The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like me; to him you shall hearken;
according to all that thou didst desire of the Lord thy God in Ḥorev in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
And the Lord said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.
And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
But the prophet, who shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.
And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?
Know that when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it out of presumption; thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Moving along with the study….
Soooooo I asked myself…….
- How can one remain obedient to G-d, glorify Him alone, yet recognize G-d’s handy work all around?
- How can one thank G-d for His creations, while not entering into paganism and or idol worship?
- Are there practices or persons we should avoid when seeking to know more about the spiritual realms or understanding?
Solar- sheemsheet or solaree= meaning sunshade
Solar energy- energeeyat ha-shemesh= example the energy produce or linked to the orbit of planets or luminaries in the heavens
and
Solar System- ma’arekhet ha-shemesh=all sources created by the One True Living G-d, in all dimensions of the heaven and plains of existence both spiritual and physical
You know my dear friends and family something that just hit me the right way regarding this meditation on the Psalm 19 time.

Which lead to look up the below books, chapters, and verses. I want to very much tho share these with all my dear friends and family.
The answer is: of course!
Sooooo here it goes!
One source I found explains in a beautiful poetic manner how one is able to glorify G-d and His wisdom and presence in all creations, but not enter or practice into idolatry or paganism.
Orchot Tzadikim 1
Since we see that man is God’s chosen creation of the lower world, that he is constructed in the image and form of God, more carefully created than than all created things, and that he has a soul that can understand the foundation of the upper and lower [worlds]; we [can] know that he is the matter of all [God’s] intentions for this world, and that all things in this world were created for his needs. Therefore, man was given the true Torah, to teach us the proper way [of life]. For man is very beloved to God, as [seen from the fact] that the angels work [to fulfill] the needs of righteous men, as we know from Abraham and Isaac, and as Jacob said (Genesis 48:16), “May the angel that that saves me from all evil bless the youth”, and as it is written (Hosea 12:5) “and he strove with an angel and prevailed”, and as Daniel said (Daniel 6:23), “God sent an angel, and he closed the mouths of the lions and they did not hurt me”. We find that angels also come to help the righteous, as it written (Kings II 19:35) And it was that night that an angel of God went out and struck the camp of Assyria”, and many similar [passages]. We also know that one have much more worth than another, to the extent that one man [can be] equal to many others. Even though they are all of one form and foundation, this man’s soul has risen to great heights that are higher than that of his peers, because he made his wisdom rule over his desires, whereas the others let their desires reign over their wisdom, and go though their whole lives in darkness, groping like a blind man in the dark.
Man has five senses:
1) The sense of hearing, …
2) the sense of sight, …
3) the sense of smell,…
4) the sense of taste, …
and 5) the sense of touch, that which one feels when using something.
These actions compose all of man’s actions, and no action is done without one of these five senses. And the heart acts on them, because everything is brought to the heart with these five senses, and so every action and thought is drawn after them. The hear has many thought patterns, such as arrogance and humility, remembrance and forgetting, agony and happiness, embarrassment and insolence, and many more like these. And all of these though patterns draw strength from the five senses, for a blind man can not be as haughty as he would be if he could see.
Therefore, all [capably]-hearted men should try with all of their strength to attain the ultimate good; if one reaches a good [spiritual] level, he should always reach for the level above it, until he attains the ultimate good and gains the world of reward – i.e. the World to Come – with it. Kind David desired to attain the good of the world to come, saying (Psalms 31:20) “How much is the good that You have hidden away for those who fear You”, and (ibid. 36:9) “They will be filled with the fat of Your house, and they will drink from the brook of Your delights”. But this level [of reward] is only reached by the deserving, as [David] wrote, (ibid. Ch. 16) “Who can live in Your tent and dwell in Your holy mountain, those who go [about] wholesomely and do righteousness…”, see further there.
And since we mentioned the value of the [spiritual] levels of man, we should explain their laudable and denigratable and good and bad [parts], until the path before the thinking one is clear and he can enter the King’s courtyard; he will choose the good character traits with all of his strength, as he knows clearly what they are, discarding the chaff and taking the wheat.
How so? Some men are naturally angry and are always angry, while others are of a settled mind and only get slight angry over a period of many years. Some people are naturally lustful, and cannot be satiated from their pursuit of their desires, and some are very pure of body and don’t even desire the little that the body needs. Some people are greedy and could not be satisfied by all of the money in the world (as [the verse] says (Ecclesiastes 5:9), “One who loves money will never be satisfied by it”), while others are content and find just a small amount sufficient, and do not pursue all of their needs. Some people will mortify themselves out of stinginess, and won’t even spend a penny unless [to relieve] great suffering, while others knowingly abandon their money. And all of these ways and traits, such as the exuberance and mournfulness, miserliness and generosity, cruelty and compassion, cowardice and bravery, etc. –
– of all of these traits, some a person has from the moment of his creation as part of his physical nature, while others a person is predisposed to and will acquire them faster than other traits. Some are not intrinsic to a person; and he needs to be them by others, or he reflects on them due to a thought that came to mind, or he hears that that this trait is good and worth following; and he practices it until it becomes ingrained in his heart.
In conclusion my dear friends and family,
While one should acknowledge G-d Almighty in all uses of His creations, one should never be confused into worshiping the created being as a god.
Solar- sheemsheet or solaree= meaning sunshade… takes place when one is in a G’F, spiritual darkness or wickedness and G-d in His great mercy has shield His presence until that individual taken accountability and makes a return to G-d.
Solar energy- energyat ha-shemesh= example the energy produced or linked to the orbit of planets or luminaries in the heavens… spiritual energy exists. It is permissible to acknowledge or seek to obtain through righteousness and devotion to HaShem and His Torah, a high spiritual frequency or existence while here on earth. However, the permissible allowance should not be misinterpreted as G-d’s agreement in violating His laws. G-d in His great loving mercy gave us all free will, to be used as guided by His Torah.
and
Solar System- ma’arekhet ha-shemesh=all sources created by the One True Living G-d, in all dimensions of the heaven and plains of existence both spiritual and physical……a when the merging or transformation in the merging of the spiritual world with the physical world is a road that should be taken with caution and profound respect for He who made all, HaShem Blessed be He. When one gazes towards the heavens, one must understand; G-d set the Heavens in place with each and everyone of us in mind. So that we could look up and forever understand that G-d, is forever and always with us. A reliable source, so infinite, to vase, and sometimes not understandable. With this lesson G’W, we all will look up to the heavens and thank G-d each and every day of our life.

Omayn and Omayn.
