Let’s continue on..

What to expect this Bible Study Lesson?

We will continue to increase in our intro Hebrew vocabulary, with an intro to Hebrew terminology, coupled with a version of The Tanakh (the actual …. Jewish Bible.. that means no “new testament”) introduction, and will always rooted in Torah Spiritual Teaching.

The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching. The books, sources, and resources or references that we share here at mariespeaksgodsgrace.live, are not commonly found or promoted by the internet, therefore we do our best to provide the Torah filled information for others not to be led towards secular or pagan or idolatry propaganda lifestyles.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying Torah , researching Torah sages information and teachings, applying in life the lessons taught by our sages of Blessed memory and today, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.

This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.

Physical And Spiritual

Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.

This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.

With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.

Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.

TRUTH

I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh. To be clear I believe all Truth comes from the G-d of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and was given to us through His Prophet Moses to teach to the world and all those who love Him, know, Him and call Him by name and live by His Torah.

In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.

So What Is Terminology?

Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:

Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.A term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.

Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.

Terminology differs from lexicography, as it involves the study of concepts, conceptual systems and their labels (terms), whereas lexicography studies words and their meanings.

Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.

Terminology can be limited to one or more languages (for example, “multilingual terminology” and “bilingual terminology”), or may have an interdisciplinarity focus on the use of terms in different fields.

Let’s get into…..

This week’s Hebrew and Jewish terminology words are:

Time-zman/eem- A moment or instance when an event comes about or is anticipated. This “time” may also be in longevity, or may seem speedily, or even prolonged, to name a few. In either case, of what “time” may feel or seem like to us here while on earth, ultimately we acknowledge that all, yes all happenings (for lack off a better word), are determine and sovereignly ordained by The One and True Only Living G-d, Blessed be He.

Hour- sha’ah/hot – This may point to a remembrance of when an event or occurrence has taken place in a person or people’s life to which they will be able to recall without a doubt, transpired by the right hand by Almighty G-d, or was allowed (if G-d perceived negatively), allowed to take place for growth, moment, education, or for the greater good, understood or not understood.

instances- pa’am/pa’ameem: Aligned with the acknowledgement that G-d, is the ultimate wisdom and creator of all, instance come about for the benefit of the created to give reference, cry out to, or find comfort in knowing G-d, is forever present in our lives, the lives of others, and everything part of creation.

definition of instance
  1. Presence; present time.
  2. A happening or occurring; occurrence; occasion: as, it was correct in the first instance; a court of first instance (that is, of primary jurisdiction).
  3. A case occurring; a case offered as an exemplification or a precedent; an example; originally, a case offered to disprove a universal assertion: as, this has happened in three instances.
  • To cite as an instance; adduce in illustration or confirmation; mention as an example.
  • To furnish an instance or example of; exemplify; manifest.
  • To take or receive example or examples; give or find illustration: followed by in.

Another website I was able to find was MyHebrewDictionary.co.il. I enjoyed finding this website. The website also has a pronunciation of the words in Hebrew, which is much better than my own; and allows for some practice if one would like to listen, hear, and learn.

Other words for time are:

Being that G-d, Blessed be He is beyond our comprehension and understanding of time, past, present, and future are all one in HaShem.

I used 3 books to aide me in my research this lesson are from my personal home library:

I truly enjoyed studying and researching this week’s Jewish Terminology Word.

What lead me to research specifically this word?

I am glad you asked….

Often I happen to witness or let’s be honest over hear conversation that I rather not be a part of…. carry books Marie carry more books.

The conversation that I’ll happen to overhear may take place while at a social gathering, or perhaps while waiting in line of some sort, or even in my own head. Stop, we all have conversations in our own head… be honest.

More, and more often I am hearing from others, and at times myself, is that many people are concerned with time, yet many use their time carelessly. Some spend hours participating in activities or entertainments that admittedly had no true value to one’s life. Others are so very busy and give themselves such rigorous schedules or tasks, so much so that they live in a state of constant concern or self-war and that they don’t allow time to focus or breathe, or relax, or rest.

A similarity I believe I have found in both cases witnessed above is: both cases are almost quite foolish. Both cases take away for one’s possibilities to expand beyond what is in front of someone’s face, so to speak. Both cases don’t allow for much creativity, or possibility for a profound or fulfilling experience with God, family, or self-care and maintenance of all life relationships..

Moving along with the study….

Soooooo I asked myself…….

  • What the Torah of Tanakh say about time?
  • Are the examples in the Torah and Tanakh how one should conduct or maintain ones time?
  • What changes am I fully capable of implementing in my own life to ensure I am making the wisest use of my time?

I know shocking….

A sefara.org search of time reveals great Jewish thoughts on time:

Ibn Ezra on Deuteronomy 16:20:1 Justice, justice shall you pursue, that you may thrive and occupy the land that your God יהוה is giving you.

The word appears twice: because one must pursue justice, whether it be to one’s gain, or to one’s loss; or the repetition denotes “time after time” — all the days of your life; or for emphasis. (Ibn Ezra on the Pentateuch; trans. by Jay F. Shachter)

Rashi on Exodus 12:2:1 This month shall mark for you the beginning of the months; it shall be the first of the months of the year for you.

החדש הזה — He showed him the moon in the first stage of its renewal, and He said to him, “The time when the moon renews itself thus, shall be unto you the beginning of the month”. shall be the moment of (Pentateuch with Rashi’s commentary by M. Rosenbaum and A.M. Silbermann, 1929-1934)

Ramban on Exodus 13:16:1 “And so it shall be as a sign upon your hand and as a symbol on your forehead that with a mighty hand יהוה freed us from Egypt.”

Behold, from the time of there being idolatry in the world – from the days of Enosh – the opinions about faith started to blur….And therefore they said , “Be careful with a light commandment as with a weighty one,” since they are all very desirable and beloved – as through them a person concedes to his God all the time. (Sefaria Community Translation)

What does kabbalah say about time?

According to Kabbalistic thought, time is seen as a complex and multifaceted concept. Here are some key points:

  • The Kabbalah views time as a manifestation of the divine, with the very essence of time being a reflection of the oscillation between being and non-being. This oscillation is seen as the primal source of time.
  • The Lubavitcher Rebbe, in his Sefer ha-Ikkarim, interprets Maimonides’ Moreh Nevuchim as suggesting that the essential continuum of time may be eternal and without beginning. However, the Kabbalah and Chassidism resolve that even this essential aspect of time was created out of the void at the initial point of Creation.
  • The Kabbalah also discusses the concept of “Essential Continuum of Time,” which is seen as a fundamental aspect of the universe. This concept is not fully understood and is considered a mystery.
  • In the context of Kabbalistic thought, time is not seen as a linear concept, but rather as a multidimensional and interconnected web. This is reflected in the concept of the ” Tree of Life,” which represents the interconnectedness of the divine and the universe.
  • The Kabbalah also discusses the idea of “time travel,” but not in the sense of physical travel through time. Rather, it is seen as a metaphor for gaining new insight into one’s past and present by re-examining and re-interpreting past events from different perspectives.

In conclusion my dear friends and family, What I got from my experience coupled with this week Hebrew and Jewish Terminology Word of the week …..

As a Child of the Only Living G-d and believers, followers, and devoted lovers of His Holy Torah; we should do our best to ensure our Time-zman/eem is filled with as much of HaShem and His teaching and commandments as possible. Although the actions may be of how we carry out the use of our Time-zman/eem in living out HaShem and His Torah might be censored appropriately to the location, relationships, or maybe even possibilities, our foundation in HaShem and His Torah should never waver, but stand firm and strong.
