Tehillim Psalms 133

Now I have posted videos reading the Psalms on our Youtube and Rumble and IG social media pages, but this seasons goal have been something more in depth, more G’W terminology filled, and G’W applicable to one’s life.

So as we…..

grow with the terminology of Tehillim 133

we have been also be growing in our Hebrew and Jewish terminology Word of the Week…..

Friend – yedeed/-ah, Friendliness- yakhas yedeedootee, friendly- yedeedootee, friendship- yedeedoot

Library of Universal Knowledge@1948, 1954 published by Consolidated Book Publishers printed in the god old US of A. It in my opinion is a wonderful old book! The kind of which are so very difficult to find now a days.

Anyhow, this book define friend as – to love, freund and friend are similar in form. Fiend. Free.

One who is attached to another by affection; one who has esteem and regard for another and love his society; one not hostile; one of the the same nation, party, or kin; one who looks with favour upon a cause, institution, or the like;

also a term of salutation or familiar address- Society of Friends, the name assumed be the society of dissenters commonly called Quakers, – to be friends with- to feel as a friend toward; to be friendly towards: may be used when a single person is the friend of another.

Of course I want to repeat one should always, mainly seek guidance from G-d Almighty, and with secondly from man in the study of the Hebrew and Jewish terminology word of the Week. In preforming this seeking of wisdom one can and will be more equipped to understand, relearn, and gain wisdom in the terminology of Tehillim 133.

There is no doubt in my mind after each weeks of combine lessons and Blogs, we will be equipped and passionate about truly living a Torah and Tanakh filled life each and every season of our life and therefore, enriching the lives of those we love and come into any form of contact with throughout this lifetime.

Before reciting the Psalms

Blessings Before Reciting Tehillim / Psalms

Why prayer before reciting Tehillim/ Psalms?:

Before we recite Tehillim / Psalms, it is for the benefit of the one engaging in praise to center their hearts and mind focus solely on the words they are preparing to recite. One is preparing themselves to remove the worries and cares of each day, and be solely in the presence of the Almighty, Blessed be He.

Therefore, we as an adoring bride and loyal subject to the Only Living G-d, Our King, our source, and among other beautiful aspects of our respect for our Father, the Creator of the Universe and everything therein; we aim to concentrate on Him and Him alone.

Before we begin the Study of the Tehillim / Psalms, reciting the Blessing/Prayer, we are fulfilling a mitzvah or sacred tradition on the merits of those Blessed Great Leaders who served HaShem with a joyful heart, and will, and might.; Blessing HaShem, of Glory and Truth’s beautiful Torah/Tanakh.

A Mitzvah is defined basically as:

  1. A commandment of the Jewish law.
  2. The fulfillment of such a commandment.
  3. A good, just, and / or worthy deed.

As I play the video during the Live or uploaded lessons, please try and focus on the words being recited and center oneself in the present moment. This can be difficult at first, but after some time and or many lessons, there is no doubt in my mind that we both achieve our accomplished goal, preparedness in the presence of HaShem.

Centering oneself may come easier to some than to others, be patient with oneself. It’s ok.

Just breathe.

Before each video lesson:

I want to do my utmost to ensure I am not leading others into improper practices. I want to ensure I repeat the Blessings before reciting the Psalms to HaShem, Our Merciful Father. We will play the after the Psalms Prayer at the completion of each video lesson.

Anyhow, another book I use from my home library, Tehillim Books of Psalms which has commentary from Talmud, Midrash, Kabbalah, classic commentators, and Chasidic Masters has the commentary paragraph by page 133:1 paragraph pg 276a commentary titled When brothers will dwell together and it clarifies:

How good and pleasant it will be when all Jews will dwell in brotherly love upon their land. The will dwell together- the kingdom will no longer be divided into two as it was in the past (Metzudot)

The destruction of the Second Temple occurred because of senseless hatred among the Jewish people. The Psalmist therefore describes the condition that will end the exile and bring about the redemption: brotherly love (Alshich)

Let’s get into a reading of the Tehillim…….

A Ma῾alot Poem of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aharon: running down over the hem of his garments:
like the dew of Ḥermon descending upon the mountains of Żiyyon: for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

I absolutely adore those Psalms!

Jewish encypodeia.com explains the following for Friend – yedeed/-ah, Friendliness- yakhas yedeedootee, friendly- yedeedootee, friendship- yedeedoot:

jewishencylopedia.com explains about friendship:

Personal attachment to an individual due to mutual interests or arising from close intimacy or acquaintance.

The historical books of the Bible furnish several instances of genuine friendship; and the pithy sayings of the Wisdom literature, of Talmud, and of Midrash contain a philosophy of friendship. The Bible endows friendship with a peculiar dignity by making it symbolical of the intimacy that exists between God and man. “And Yhwh spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend” (Ex. xxxiii. 11; comp. Num. xii. 8). Also the prophet Isaiah makes God speak of Abraham as his friend (Isa. xli. 8; comp. II Chron. xx. 7).

The essential characteristic of genuine friendship is disinterestedness. The service one renders his friend must be prompted by the sole desire to be of use to him, and not for the sake of furthering one’s own interests. Selfishness destroys friendship. This is tersely expressed in Ab. v. 16: “Friendship dictated by a selfish motive comes to an end together with its speculations; but friendship which is not based on any selfish motive comes never to an end.”

Because friends, owing to their intimate relation, influence each other, the utmost care should be exercised in the choice of a friend. “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” (Prov. xvii. 17; comp. ib. xxviii. 7); “Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger”

The highest office of friendship, the most thorough test of its genuineness, is justly reckoned to be the desire of friends to improve the moral and intellectual conditions of each other by frankness of reproof and counsel. “Thou shalt warn thy neighbor” (Lev. xix. 17a). “Better is open rebuke than love that is hidden. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are profuse” (Prov. xxvii. 5-6). “Love him who corrects thee, and hate him who flatters thee”

Therefore when we read Tehillim Psalms 133: 1 :A Ma῾alot Poem of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

We can attempt in a better terminology of the kind of friendship or brotherhood King David, of Blessed memory is referring.

Definition of unity: noun

  1. The state or property of being one; oneness, as opposed to multiplicity; individuality, as opposed to plurality.
  2. Organic totality; that interconnection of parts which constitutes a complex whole; a systematic whole as distinguished from its constituent parts: as, the unity of consciousness; the unity of an artistic creation. See def. 9.
  3. Identity; self-sameness; uniformity.

Tehillim 133: 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aharon: running down over the hem of his garments:

In this verse, great credit of character has been recognized by Merciful HaShem, testifying to the loyal and loving conduct of Moses towards Aaron and Aaron towards Moses. Neither brother was jealous of the other when HaShem, The Blessed Holy, gave assignments in task or mission for their life. In fact, it is noted by the Great Sages of Blessed memory that each brother rejoiced from their inner heart and sang praises to G-d for raising their loved one to a higher station, with full trust that despite any obstacle, G-d would ensure their success.

In the singing of the hearts rejoicing for the success of the other, G-d saw more than fit to have Moses crowned as King and Aaron as High Priest of the Tent of Meeting while ensuring the future descendants of Aaron would forever be Kohanim (Priests of the Tabernacle).

Tehillim 133: 3 like the dew of Ḥermon descending upon the mountains of Żiyyon: for there the Lord has commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Here the verse is normally leading to the salvation of the Israel, which is beautiful and wonderful and I pray is soon in our days. But, this verse reminds me of the drew on the ground in Genesis Bereshit ch 2:4-7.

These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet grown: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

What I read when I see the verse together, is G-d’s miracles. How incredibly Our G-d, created so many wonders just by speaking some saying singing the universe into existence. Then after some years, some days and years, okay let’s not fight about it….

G-d, then maybe took a look around all His beautiful good creations; and perhaps G-d thought… this is all good, all unity, all complete as it is, but something is needed here. And just like G-d, allowed a mist to raise from the earth, G-d allowed the anointing oil to flow and glisten down the head, down the face, and down the beard of Aaron.

I like to think at this time Aaron shined with the rays of the HaShem’s wonderful approval. I wouldn’t be surprised if Aaron’s feet lifted off the ground something like the feet of Angels as they praise their creator.

And as G-d’s Nation looked on, I am hopeful that many stared with great intensity at the sight of two brothers truly joyful for each other in HaShem and Torah. I wish, I truly wish we all could be that happy for one another.

That’s true unity, friendship, and family.

That’s a Torah kind of love that will bring the coming of the true Mashiach.

In the conclusion of Psalms 133

Friend – yedeed/-ah, Friendliness- yakhas yedeedootee, friendly- yedeedootee, friendship- yedeedoot:

coupled with

Family -messp|ah/ahot

There are a variety of levels and dimensions in relationships of friends and family. Often times we learn the most from those who were maybe kind or good or sweet to or with us. Other times it is possible to learn from those who were cruel or evil towards or with us. Both, in fact all relationships are ultimately tools used by our Creator, that are sent for a specific purpose and in a predetermined time frame and for a specific duration of time.

We often are very grateful when those who are loving and kind to us are in our life, and of course dread when or if that loving relationship’s time has expired. Then again, we are very grateful when someone who has been evil or cruel is out of our life.

What I want to do here is offer an opportunity to thank HaShem; with love and praise and gratitude and then ask HaShem, the Blessed Holy One; some questions.

Why ask? Ask, not in demanding an explanation; ask in seeking wisdom from God. The question may be framed as such…. What am I made to learn from this experience? Or perhaps, God, how can I grow from this, what lesson am I able or should learn from this?

In seeking wisdom from He who is all wisdom instead of giving into angry or pain or bitterness; we are acknowledging a humble servant posture towards our Creator, and inviting G-d’s “mind”,(so to speak) to open up onto us, thus revealing G’W, a level of comfort and guidance. This basic level beginner process of gratitude and seeking wisdom, is how one can build a true and ever lasting Friend – yedeed/-ah, Friendliness- yakhas yedeedootee, friendly- yedeedootee, friendship- yedeedoot:

that will build a relationship into to a Family -messp|ah/ahot with HaShem and His Torah.

Omayn and Omayn.

When one acknowledges G-d as their complete source in all aspects of one’s life, they enter into a covenant with the Blessed Holy One.

#thankyouHaShem

FOR THOSE THAT ARE NEW TO THIS BIBLE STUDY.

Welcome, the following is a brief review of this Bible Study.

1. This BLOG post will have the resources and sources links for the Season 6 Bible Studies.

2. All Books used and Readings from during Live Bible Study can be found on Our Website: Marie Speaks GOD’s Grace. Live in the Bible Study Blogs portion of the website.

3. After Live Bible Studies have completed: I will upload to Rumble and Youtube, and post link in this BLOG. How we conduct Bible Studies here:

We believe in One and Only One G-D. HaShem; The G-D of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We do not and will not Pray in any others name or Praise any other, but HaShem.

Exodus chapter 20: 2-14.God spoke all these words, saying:I the LORD am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:You shall have no other gods besides Me.You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the LORD your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me, but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

We believe G-D has called each of us to search matters out. (It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, And the glory of a king to plumb a matter.Like the heavens in their height, like the earth in its depth, Is the mind of kings—unfathomable. Proverbs 25:2 -3)

This is one reason why here at Marie Speaks G-D’s Grace Bible Study, we review several historical references and resources, of which we provide links and or screen shots for others to study at their leisure. We have been directed by G-D Wonderful and Almighty, to go Book by Book, Verse by Verse; sharing HIS Torah and Tanakh. We believe as directed by G-D Our Heavenly Father, learning and growing in Torah and Tanakh leads to understanding and wisdom; this shall only be achieved in reading, studying, and sharing HIS Word for ourselves; not relying on man.

Learning, growing, and studying with OUR L-D is to be done with others that are like minded, but more so during our personal time.

The BLOGs are written to assist those just beginning to study the BIBLE as a starting point. The Live or recorded Bible Studies are to cover and release opportunities and guidance, but ultimately is ones own personal responsibility to rule, govern, and be purposeful in their relationship with G-D.

Proverbs 22: 4 thru 6The effect of humility is fear of the LORD, Wealth, honor, and life.Thorns and snares are in the path of the crooked; He who values his life will keep far from them.Train a lad in the way he ought to go; He will not swerve from it even in old age.

Ezekiel 18: 20 thru 22The person who sins, he alone shall die. A child shall not share the burden of a parent’s guilt, nor shall a parent share the burden of a child’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous shall be accounted to him alone, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be accounted to him alone. Moreover, if the wicked one repents of all the sins that he committed and keeps all My laws and does what is just and right, he shall live; he shall not die.None of the transgressions he committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness he has practiced, he shall live. Is it my desire that a wicked person shall die?—says the L-d G-D. It is rather that he shall turn back from his ways and live.

May HaShem, Blessed be He, continue to Bless us all and may we all be forever written in the Book of Life. O’Amein and O’AmeinA little about me: I love HaShem, TORAH, and Tanakh!!!!! I am not perfect!!!!

If we meet: We talking about Torah, drinking tea or coffee, and what books are out about HaShem! And maybe over some kosher pizza… maybe over some kosher steak…make over super sweet kosher cake ……. have a fun laugh about you guess it… Torah! Or on a bike, or  during a hike,  or while riding on a train in the rain as the rain falls nicely on the plain in Spain….., but either way…..We’ll be talking about TORAH!!!!

What is import to me:……..A relationship with Our Father  HaShem, Our Merciful Creator, Savior, and Wise King. Live in Torah, live with Family and community of Tribe.

My thoughts: We may not be perfect, but we study, we learn, we laugh, & we grow; we try try and have the courage to try again.

My goals: To learn, and grow, and share Love of Torah in HaShem with others who are willing or open to hearing. HaShem is my refuge, my strength, my confidant, and my true resting place.I have been using the minds.com account and Rumble (Live Bible Study video Post: Rumble  )as main accounts.

Lastly, NEVER LOSE FAITH, Hope, and have Courage!!!!Let’s continue to Fear and Love HaShem like a משיח and Pray.

PRAY FOR OUR NATION, enemies, fellows, and many lost Sons and Daughters of Torah to return to HaShem, Blessed be He, for ever and ever Amen.  HaShem is with me … I shall not be afraid!!!!!

Blessings and Prayers.

with Love truly,

Marie
