Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace Bible Study.
This is the of Season 7 of Marie Speaks G-d’s Grace. I hope everyone enjoyed the first blog of the Season Bereshit/ Genesis ch 1: In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. In which, we reviewed and discussed Merciful HaShem , the Blessed Holy One singing the world into creation. We also discussed some of the Jewish Legends behind the story of creation.
This week we will continue on in discussing The Only Living G-d, creating His most favorite of creations……. humans.

What to expect this this Season 7 and Bible Study Lesson?
We will begin to review from the beginning of the First Book of Moses the Word of the Holy Blessed One, Bereshit/Genesis. Throughout each chapter, we will review, learn, examine, and study. This will lead us to examine this season, unveiling as we investigate cases of Stolen Valor. Along with this great task, we will continue to increase our intro Hebrew vocabulary, with an intro to Hebrew terminology, coupled with a version of The Tanakh (the actual Jewish Bible, that means no “new testament”) introduction, and will always be rooted in Torah Spiritual Teaching.
The books, sources, and resources or references I will do my best to make sure are hyperlinked for others to review and study at their own leisure and for gaining in self-learning/teaching. The books, sources, and resources or references that we share here at mariespeaksgodsgrace.live, are not commonly found or promoted by the internet, therefore we do our best to provide the Torah filled information for others not to be led towards secular or pagan or idolatry propaganda lifestyles.
The books I use to aide me in my research this Season 7 / Lesson are from my personal home library:
***I am not paid to endorse nor am affiliated***
The some of the sources we will be using are listed below for others to enjoy on their own time.
**** again****I am not paid to endorse nor affiliated with any source or reference. I enjoy sharing with others and allowing them the opportunity to meet the Only True Living G-d.

My goal is to help and assist others by studying Torah , researching Torah sages information and teachings, applying in life the lessons taught by our sages of Blessed memory and today, then learning and sharing/teaching what I have learned or experienced. This rounds out my personal experiences in any moment or season of life, thus forming a reality.
This reality is a living, yes living, energy frequency.
Physical And Spiritual
Able to raise higher and higher (G-d willing) and be adjusted as more experiences and new learning take place. These are my attempts at improving myself and hoping to leave the part of the world I have been placed, in better state than before (if needed) and the people I encounter (if possible). People and or places, I am so very blessed to encounter, G-d willing, will have a positive (frequency strong hold/ pillar of success for G-d’s Glory) experience of their own that will ultimately lead them to… you guessed it… G-d and His Holy Torah.
This Is Not Forced Or Coerced, Nor Manipulated.
With full acceptance of my own and others free will, (given to us by the Holy Creator), therefore at the end of the day one’s own education is determined by their efforts, intentions, and perseverance of truth.
Everyone has a responsibility to their own life, experiences, learning, and education (to name a few), in seeking and finding truth forming their reality.
TRUTH
I believe all truth comes from G-d and was given to us in His Holy Torah, and then lived out in the Tanakh. To be clear I believe all Truth comes from the G-d of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and was given to us through His Prophet Moses to teach to the world and all those who love Him, know, Him and call Him by name and live by His Torah.
In order to understand, realize, and learn the truth, we should attempt, to the highest degree possible, to learn terminology, and then share this beauty with others who are open.
So What Is Terminology?
Terminology, as defined by Wikipedia, is:
Terminology is a group of specialized words and respective meanings in a particular field, and also the study of such terms and their use; the latter meaning is also known as terminology science.A term is a word, compound word, or multi-word expressions that in specific contexts is given specific meanings—these may deviate from the meanings the same words have in other contexts and in everyday language.
Terminology is a discipline that studies, among other things, the development of such terms and their interrelationships within a specialized domain.
Terminology is a discipline that systematically studies the “labelling or designating of concepts” particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity. It does this through the research and analysis of terms in context for the purpose of documenting and promoting consistent usage.
Let’s get into….. Today’s Torah verses of study
Blessing of the Torah:
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to be engrossed in the words of Torah.
HaShem our God, please make the words of Your Torah pleasant in our mouths and in the mouths of Your people Israel. And may we and our descendants [and the descendants of our descendants] and the descendants of Your people the House of Israel, all know Your Name and be students of Your Torah for its own sake.
Blessed are You, HaShem Who teaches Torah to His people, Israel.
Blessed are You, HaShem our God, King of the Universe Who chose us from among all the peoples and gave us His Torah. Blessed are You, HaShem, Giver of the Torah!
The heavens and the earth were completed, and [so were] all their conglomerations.
Commentary:
This verse in the Hebrew is:
וַיְכֻלּ֛וּ הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם וְהָאָ֖רֶץ וְכל־צְבָאָֽם
va-y’-khul ha-sha-MA-yim v’-ha-A-retz v’-kol t’-va-AM
The beauty of this poetic verse is where a wide variety of theories from several different religions or spiritual faiths or concepts in Judaism prove true.
To translate this word וַיְכֻלּ֛וּ (vayi-hu-lu) or simular to כָּלָה (v) heb which means kalah for bride or spiritually a covenant marriage. Poetically the verse reads:
All the divine thoughts of the Blessed Holy One brought from the spiritual into the physical realm plains of exist. The spiritual being were given form, purpose, task, and were weighed/ reviewed with Torah; during these 1,000’s of the 6,000 to 7,000 year period (time period for human understanding).
Every spiritual soul contract and spirit covenant was spoken or sung with every creation that HaShem made. This was the first contract or covenant with every one of His creations. The contracts or covenants were disputed, negotiated, destroyed, recreated, and finally mutually agreed upon. This agreement was between HaShem and His creation as an individual or independently, then once agreed, assigned, and agreed upon as a whole.
הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם ha-sha-maim: The visible and invisible heavenly host, or some might say children/servants of the Blessed Holy One, were then assigned/charged to watch over or attend or by delegation of authority with in limitations, each creation listed for the covenant. These invisible heavenly servants are most commonly thought to only be the Angels or חַיּוֹת ḥayyōṯ charged to creations, but there is so much more vastly deep assignments going on here. As we continue, we read…
וְהָאָ֖רֶץ vi-ha-a-retz : the land
So at this time the spiritual assignments or charges were not just given to the hashamaim or spiritual being in the unseen heavens or hayyot- angels; what was also charged is the covenant first / primary spiritual contracts with the vhaaretz- the land, to which every human would be given or assigned to in every lifetime, in every plane of existence, in every first spiritual contract. vhaaretz- the land was also charge with task for keeping well or providing for the humans and life that were assigned to the land.
We can see this in the definition of the word v-ha-a-retz
- אֶרֶץ (n-f) heb
- land, earth
- earth
- whole earth (as opposed to a part)
- earth (as opposed to heaven)
- earth (inhabitants)
- land
- country, territory
- district, region
- tribal territory
- piece of ground
- land of Canaan, Israel
- inhabitants of land
- Sheol, land without return, (under) world
- city (-state)
- ground, surface of the earth
- ground
- soil
- (in phrases)
- people of the land
- space or distance of country (in measurements of distance)
- level or plain country
- land of the living
- end(s) of the earth
- (almost wholly late in usage)
- lands, countries
- often in contrast to Canaan
- lands, countries
- earth
- land, earth
וְכל־צְבָאָֽם: The height and weight of everything and the form of creation were measured on the scales of righteousness and justice according to the Torah of HaShem, and given a jurisdiction of territory. Once this heavenly judicial process was concluded and judgments were pronounced, only then could the final approval of sustained continual existence be/ was approved by the Blessed Holy One. All parties involved where made to be fully aware of the enitre obilgations of the covenant as well as positive and negative consequences of success and failures adhereing to the contract, vow, or covenant.
The complete transliterations of verse 1 of Bereshit ch 2 reads:
va-y’-khul ha-sha-MA-yim v’-ha-A-retz v’-kol t’-va-AM
וַיְכֻלּוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ וְכָל־צְבָאָם
Verse 2: Elohim completed by the seventh day His work which He had made, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, for on it He abstained from all His work, which Elohim had created to do.
Commentary:
Being a righteous Almighty King, HaShem the Sole Creator, takes a sabbatical year (1,000 years) of active rest. In this time, our King now sets free, releases, and enjoys the fruits of all His glorious labor. This is the first Sabbath honoring HaShem as the Creator and Sovereign Ruling King.
A case of Stolen Valor:
Definition of Stolen Valor: Stolen valor is a term used to describe the act of falsely claiming to be a veteran or active duty member of the military, or to have received military honors or awards. The goal of these false claims is to deceive others into believing the individual is a decorated military hero in order to gain money, property, or other benefits.
Now that we know the definition of Stolen Valor, let’s read what Christianity defines as “the day of rest” or Shabbat.
Christianity claims that Sunday has replaced the Sabbath not only as a day of rest, but in honor of their god’s resurrection. Thus affirming Christianity’s rejection of Torah Law, entering into idolatry, as well as paganism.
Sunday became a day of worship and rest for Christians in the 1st century, when they began holding corporate worship on the day. However, it wasn’t until March 7, 321, when Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree that made Sunday a day of rest from labor. The decree stated, “All judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun”. Constantine’s edict, along with his Christendom, led to the practice of Sabbath-keeping on Sunday.
Some say that Christians began observing Sunday instead of the Sabbath because the Resurrection and the beginning of Creation occurred on Sunday. Others say that more Gentiles were becoming Christians, which led to a desire to break away from Jewish customs. However, some scholars say that the earliest Christians didn’t consider Sunday to be a replacement for the Sabbath. They say that Sunday was originally a day of work, but it included a worship service to honor Christ’s resurrection.
Today, some Christian denominations, such as the Reformed Churches, Methodist Churches, and Baptist Churches, consider Sunday to be the Christian Sabbath, a practice known as first-day Sabbatarianism.
Now, we have spoken about Constantine and his hatred for Jews and Judaism in previous lessons. Please take a moment to compare the letters of Constantine to the Letters of Paul. In my humble opinion, those letters greatly echo anti-Semitic language and a hatred of Judaism; not to mention the locations to where the letters were distributed seem similar.
As a brief review below is a list of the many letters and titles of Constantine:
Letters of Constantine
The letters of Constantine the Great, a Roman Emperor who ruled from 306 to 337 AD, provide valuable insights into his religious and political views. These letters, written primarily to bishops, clergy, and other officials, demonstrate Constantine’s attempts to navigate the complexities of Christianity and its relationship with the Roman Empire.
Authentic Letters
Several letters attributed to Constantine have been preserved through the works of early Christian historians and theologians, such as Eusebius of Caesarea and Optatus of Milevis. These letters include:
- Letter to Eusebius: A letter to Eusebius, a bishop and historian, in which Constantine discusses the construction of churches and the treatment of Christians.
- Letter to the Bishops and People of Africa: A letter to the bishops and people of Africa, urging them to reconcile with the Catholic Church and condemning the Donatist schism.
- Letter to Arius: A letter to Arius, a prominent heretic, in which Constantine expresses his concerns about Arius’ teachings and appeals to him to reconcile with the Church.
- Letter to the Synod of Tyre: A letter to the Synod of Tyre, addressing issues related to the appointment of bishops and the treatment of Christians.
Themes and Content
Common themes in Constantine’s letters include:
- Religious tolerance: Constantine’s letters demonstrate his commitment to religious tolerance, as he seeks to promote peace and unity among Christians and non-Christians alike.
- Christianity as a state religion: Constantine’s letters show his increasing identification with Christianity, as he uses his imperial authority to support the Church and promote Christian values.
- Conflict resolution: Constantine’s letters often address conflicts within the Church, such as the Donatist schism, and his efforts to resolve these disputes through diplomacy and compromise.
- Imperial authority: Constantine’s letters emphasize his imperial authority and his role as a protector of the Church, while also acknowledging the autonomy of the Church and its bishops.
Legacy
The letters of Constantine have had a profound impact on the development of Christianity and the relationship between Church and state. They demonstrate Constantine’s significant role in shaping the early Christian Church and his efforts to promote Christian values and unity throughout the empire.
This brings a whole new meaning to the Separation of Church and State doesn’t it!?!
Our forefathers in America didn’t want the pagan religions of Christianity ruling over the Americas. Unfortunately, the propaganda complex has done a great job convincing the masses that the forefathers were a form of 1950’s Christian church when they were far from it.
Even in the current times, the church has argued among themselves regarding whether the Sabbath is the Sabbath of the Torah or the “Sabbath” of the Christian god.
Some wonderful quotes from the Rome 325 church system:
The [Roman Catholic] Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant.
—The Catholic Universe Bulletin, August 14, 1942, p. 4.
Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third – Protestant Fourth – Commandment of God… The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.’
—Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.
Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday. “The Day of the Lord” (dies Dominica) was chosen, not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church’s sense of its own power. The day of resurrection, the day of Pentecost, fifty days later, came on the first day of the week. So this would be the new Sabbath. People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.
—Sentinel, Pastor’s page, Saint Catherine Catholic Church, Algonac, Michigan, May 21, 1995
If Protestants would follow the Bible, they would worship God on the Sabbath Day. In keeping the Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic Church.
—Albert Smith, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, replying for the Cardinal, in a letter dated February 10, 1920.
The historical quotes above actually fulfill prophecy of the Torah:
Devarim Deuteronomy ch 13:
Everything that I am commanding you—be careful to fulfill it; do not add to it and do not subtract from it.
If a prophet arises among you or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you an omen or a miracle,
And the omen or the miracle happens—the one he told you about—saying, ‘‘Let us go after other gods, that you do not know, and let us serve them.’’
Do not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of a dream, because Adonoy, your God, is testing you to know whether you love Adonoy, your God, wholeheartedly and with your entire beings.
After Adonoy, your God, are you to go, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, serve Him, and cleave to Him.
And that prophet or that dreamer of a dream is to be executed, for he has uttered a fabrication about Adonoy, your God—Who took you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeemed you from the house of bondage—to mislead you from the way that Adonoy, your God, commanded you to go upon, and you will eliminate the evil from within you.
(*** Why did all the apostates receive such violate deaths?***)
If one shall incite you, your brother—son of your mother—or your son or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your neighbor who is your soul mate, clandestinely, saying, ‘‘Let us go and serve other gods ’’ whom you never knew—neither you nor your forefathers.
From the gods of the nations that surround you, who are near you or at a distance from you, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the earth,
Do not be favorbly inclined towards him, and do not listen to him; and do not view him compassionately, and do not take pity and do not cover for him.
For you must surely execute him. Let your hand strike him first to execute him, and the hand of the entire people afterward.
And you are to stone him with stones so that he dies, for he sought to mislead you from Adonoy, your God, Who took you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.
And all of Yisroel will hear and will fear, and they will not proceed to do so evil a thing as this, within you.
If you hear in one of your cities that Adonoy, your God, is giving you in which to settle, the following:
‘‘Men have gone out—unscrupulous —from among you, and they have misled the inhabitants of their city by saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods ’ that you do not know.’’
You must investigate, inquire, and interrogate thoroughly; and if in fact the report is true and accurate—this abomination was committed among you.
You must surely strike down the inhabitants of that city by the sword; annihilate it and everything that is in it, and its livestock by the sword.
And all its booty are you to collect within its plaza, and you are to burn in fire the city and all its booty—totally—for Adonoy, your God; and it will be a ruin forever, it is never to be rebuilt.
Let nothing of the cherem cling to your hand; so that Adonoy withdraws His raising fury and grant you mercy, and He will be merciful toward you and multiply you as He swore to your forefathers
When you heed the voice of Adonoy, your God, to guard all His commandments that I am commanding you today, to do the upright in the eyes of Adonoy, your God.
I am not teaching or promoting hate nor violence, but facts are facts. The Christian church system is a fulfillment of Devarim ch 13.
Verse 4: This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, on the day when Adonoy Elohim made earth and heaven.
All the plants of the field were not yet on the earth, and all the herbal vegetation of the field had not yet sprouted, for Adonoy Elohim had not brought rain upon the earth, and there was [yet] no man to work the soil.
A mist rose up from the earth, and it watered the entire surface of the soil.
Adonoy Elohim then formed the man, dust from the ground, and He blew into his nostrils the breath of life. And so man became a living soul.

The Legend of the Jews reads:
Legends of the Jews 1:2
THE CREATION OF ADAM
When at last the assent of the angels to the creation of man was given, God said to Gabriel: “Go and fetch Me dust from the four corners of the earth, and I will create man therewith.” Gabriel went forth to do the bidding of the Lord, but the earth drove him away, and refused to let him gather up dust from it. Gabriel remonstrated: “Why, O Earth, dost thou not hearken unto the voice of the Lord, who founded thee upon the waters without props or pillars?” The earth replied, and said: “I am destined to become a curse, and to be cursed through man, and if God Himself does not take the dust from me, no one else shall ever do it.” When God heard this, He stretched out His hand, took of the dust of the ground, and created the first man therewith. Of set purpose the dust was taken from all four corners of the earth, so that if a man from the east should happen to die in the west, or a man from the west in the east, the earth should not dare refuse to receive the dead, and tell him to go whence he was taken. Wherever a man chances to die, and wheresoever he is buried, there will he return to the earth from which he sprang. Also, the dust was of various colors–red, black, white, and green–red for the blood, black for the bowels, white for the bones and veins, and green for the pale skin.
At this early moment the Torah interfered. She addressed herself to God: “O Lord of the world! The world is Thine, Thou canst do with it as seemeth good in Thine eyes. But the man Thou art now creating will be few of days and full of trouble and sin. If it be not Thy purpose to have forbearance and patience with him, it were better not to call him into being.” God replied, “Is it for naught I am called long-suffering and merciful?”
The grace and lovingkindness of God revealed themselves particularly in His taking one spoonful of dust from the spot where in time to come the altar would stand, saying, “I shall take man from the place of atonement, that he may endure.”
THE SOUL OF MAN
The care which God exercised in fashioning every detail of the body of man is as naught in comparison with His solicitude for the human soul. The soul of man was created on the first day, for it is the spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters. Thus, instead of being the last, man is really the first work of creation.
This spirit, or, to call it by its usual name, the soul of man, possesses five different powers. By means of one of them she escapes from the body every night, rises up to heaven, and fetches new life thence for man.
With the soul of Adam the souls of all the generations of men were created. They are stored up in a promptuary, in the seventh of the heavens, whence they are drawn as they are needed for human body after human body.
The soul and body of man are united in this way: When a woman has conceived, the Angel of the Night, Lailah, carries the sperm before God, and God decrees what manner of human being shall become of it–whether it shall be male or female, strong or weak, rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, long or short, fat or thin, and what all its other qualities shall be. Piety and wickedness alone are left to the determination of man himself. Then God makes a sign to the angel appointed over the souls, saying, “Bring Me the soul so-and-so, which is hidden in Paradise, whose name is so-and-so, and whose form is so-and-so.” The angel brings the designated soul, and she bows down when she appears in the presence of God, and prostrates herself before Him. At that moment, God issues the command, “Enter this sperm.” The soul opens her mouth, and pleads: “O Lord of the world! I am well pleased with the world in which I have been living since the day on which Thou didst call me into being. Why dost Thou now desire to have me enter this impure sperm, I who am holy and pure, and a part of Thy glory?” God consoles her: “The world which I shall cause thee to enter is better than the world in which thou hast lived hitherto, and when I created thee, it was only for this purpose.” The soul is then forced to enter the sperm against her will, and the angel carries her back to the womb of the mother. Two angels are detailed to watch that she shall not leave it, nor drop out of it, and a light is set above her, whereby the soul can see from one end of the world to the other. In the morning an angel carries her to Paradise, and shows her the righteous, who sit there in their glory, with crowns upon their heads. The angel then says to the soul, “Dost thou know who these are?” She replies in the negative, and the angel goes on: “These whom thou beholdest here were formed, like unto thee, in the womb of their mother. When they came into the world, they observed God’s Torah and His commandments. Therefore they became the partakers of this bliss which thou seest them enjoy. Know, also thou wilt one day depart from the world below, and if thou wilt observe God’s Torah, then wilt thou be found worthy of sitting with these pious ones. But if not, thou wilt be doomed to the other place.”
In the evening, the angel takes the soul to hell, and there points out the sinners whom the Angels of Destruction are smiting with fiery scourges, the sinners all the while crying out Woe! Woe! but no mercy is shown unto them. The angel then questions the soul as before, “Dost thou know who these are?” and as before the reply is negative. The angel continues: “These who are consumed with fire were created like unto thee. When they were put into the world, they did not observe God’s Torah and His commandments. Therefore have they come to this disgrace which thou seest them suffer. Know, thy destiny is also to depart from the world. Be just, therefore, and not wicked, that thou mayest gain the future world.”
Between morning and evening the angel carries the soul around, and shows her where she will live and where she will die, and the place where she will buried, and he takes her through the whole world, and points out the just and the sinners and all things. In the evening, he replaces her in the womb of the mother, and there she remains for nine months.
When the time arrives for her to emerge from the womb into the open world, the same angel addresses the soul, “The time has come for thee to go abroad into the open world.” The soul demurs, “Why dost thou want to make me go forth into the open world?” The angel replies: “Know that as thou wert formed against thy will, so now thou wilt be born against thy will, and against thy will thou shalt die, and against thy will thou shalt give account of thyself before the King of kings, the Holy One, blessed be He.” But the soul is reluctant to leave her place. Then the angel fillips the babe on the nose, extinguishes the light at his head, and brings him forth into the world against his will. Immediately the child forgets all his soul has seen and learnt, and he comes into the world crying, for he loses a place of shelter and security and rest.
When the time arrives for man to quit this world, the same angel appears and asks him, “Dost thou recognize me?” And man replies, “Yes; but why dost thou come to me to-day, and thou didst come on no other day?” The angel says, “To take thee away from the world, for the time of thy departure has arrived.” Then man falls to weeping, and his voice penetrates to all ends of the world, yet no creature hears his voice, except the cock alone. Man remonstrates with the angel, “From two worlds thou didst take me, and into this world thou didst bring me.” But the angel reminds him: “Did I not tell thee that thou wert formed against thy will, and thou wouldst be born against thy will, and against thy will thou wouldst die? And against thy will thou wilt have to give account and reckoning of thyself before the Holy One, blessed be He.”
THE IDEAL MAN
Like all creatures formed on the six days of creation, Adam came from the hands of the Creator fully and completely developed. He was not like a child, but like a man of twenty years of age. The dimensions of his body were gigantic, reaching from heaven to earth, or, what amounts to the same, from east to west. Among later generations of men, there were but few who in a measure resembled Adam in his extraordinary size and physical perfections. Samson possessed his strength, Saul his neck, Absalom his hair, Asahel his fleetness of foot, Uzziah his forehead, Josiah his nostrils, Zedekiah his eyes, and Zerubbabel his voice. History shows that these physical excellencies were no blessings to many of their possessors; they invited the ruin of almost all. Samson’s extraordinary strength caused his death; Saul killed himself by cutting his neck with his own sword; while speeding swiftly, Asahel was pierced by Abner’s spear; Absalom was caught up by his hair in an oak, and thus suspended met his death; Uzziah was smitten with leprosy upon his forehead; the darts that killed Josiah entered through his nostrils, and Zedekiah’s eyes were blinded.
The generality of men inherited as little of the beauty as of the portentous size of their first father. The fairest women compared with Sarah are as apes compared with a human being. Sarah’s relation to Eve is the same, and, again, Eve was but as an ape compared with Adam. His person was so handsome that the very sole of his foot obscured the splendor of the sun.
His spiritual qualities kept pace with his personal charm, for God had fashioned his soul with particular care. She is the image of God, and as God fills the world, so the soul fills the human body; as God sees all things, and is seen by none, so the soul sees, but cannot be seen; as God guides the world, so the soul guides the body; as God in His holiness is pure, so is the soul; and as God dwells in secret, so doth the soul.
When God was about to put a soul into Adam’s clod-like body, He said: “At which point shall I breathe the soul into him? Into the mouth? Nay, for he will use it to speak ill of his fellow-man. Into the eyes? With them he will wink lustfully. Into the ears? They will hearken to slander and blasphemy. I will breathe her into his nostrils; as they discern the unclean and reject it, and take in the fragrant, so the pious will shun sin, and will cleave to the words of the Torah”
The perfections of Adam’s soul showed themselves as soon as he received her, indeed, while he was still without life. In the hour that intervened between breathing a soul into the first man and his becoming alive, God revealed the whole history of mankind to him. He showed him each generation and its leaders; each generation and its prophets; each generation and its teachers; each generation and its scholars; each generation and its statesmen; each generation and its judges; each generation and its pious members; each generation and its average, commonplace members; and each generation and its impious members. The tale of their years, the number of their days, the reckoning of their hours, and the measure of their steps, all were made known unto him.
Of his own free will Adam relinquished seventy of his allotted years. His appointed span was to be a thousand years, one of the Lord’s days. But he saw that only a single minute of life was apportioned to the great soul of David, and he made a gift of seventy years to her, reducing his own years to nine hundred and thirty.’
The wisdom of Adam displayed itself to greatest advantage when he gave names to the animals. Then it appeared that God, in combating the arguments of the angels that opposed the creation of man, had spoken well, when He insisted that man would possess more wisdom than they themselves. When Adam was barely an hour old, God assembled the whole world of animals before him and the angels. The latter were called upon to name the different kinds, but they were not equal to the task. Adam, however, spoke without hesitation: “O Lord of the world! The proper name for this animal is ox, for this one horse, for this one lion, for this one camel.” And so he called all in turn by name, suiting the name to the peculiarity of the animal. Then God asked him what his name was to be, and he said Adam, because he had been created out of Adamah, dust of the earth. Again, God asked him His own name, and he said: “Adonai, Lord, because Thou art Lord over all creatures”–the very name God had given unto Himself, the name by which the angels call Him, the name that will remain immutable evermore. But without the gift of the holy spirit, Adam could not have found names for all; he was in very truth a prophet, and his wisdom a prophetic quality.
The names of the animals were not the only inheritance handed down by Adam to the generations after him, for mankind owes all crafts to him, especially the art of writing, and he was the inventor of all the seventy languages. And still another task he accomplished for his descendants. God showed Adam the whole earth, and Adam designated what places were to be settled later by men, and what places were to remain waste.
The Legends of the Jews by Louis Ginzberg [1909]

verse 8: Adonoy Elohim planted a garden in Eden, to the east, and there He placed the man He had formed.
Adonoy Elohim made grow out of the soil every tree that is pleasant to look at, and good for [producing] food; the Tree of Life in the middle of the Garden, and the Tree (of) Knowledge [of what is] good and evil.
A river went out of Eden to water the Garden, and from there it separated and became four headwaters.
The name of the first is Pishon which surrounds all the land of Chavilah, where there is gold.
The gold of that land is good. Also found there is bdellium and onyx stones.
The name of the second river is Gichon. It surrounds all the land of Kush.
The name of the third river is Chidekel, which flows to the east of Ashur. The fourth river is P’ras.
Adonoy Elohim took the man, and put him in the Garden of Eden, to work it and to preserve it.
Adonoy Elohim commanded the man, saying, You may certainly eat from every tree in the Garden.
But from the Tree (of) Knowledge of what is good and evil, you shall not eat from it, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.
Adonoy Elohim said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper for him.
Adonoy Elohim formed from the ground, every beast of the field, and every bird of the heaven, and brought them to the man, to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called [each] living creature, that is its name.
The man gave names to every animal, to the birds of the heaven, and to every beast of the field, but the man did not find a helper for himself.
Adonoy Elohim caused unconsciousness to fall upon the man and he slept. He took one of his ribs and closed over flesh in its place.
Adonoy Elohim built the rib that He took from the man into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
Commentary:

Here is where I got the title of today’s lesson. Wikipedia explains the movie better than I am able sooooo: When Adam met Eve…. get it?
When Harry Met Sally… is a 1989 American romantic comedy drama film directed by Rob Reiner and written by Nora Ephron. Starring Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher, and Bruno Kirby, it follows the title characters from the time they meet in Chicago and share a drive to New York City through twelve years of chance encounters in New York, and addresses the question “Can men and women ever just be friends?”
Apparently, it showing on Prime Video, so enjoy! But, not just yet we have some more verses to go over in this class.
Verse 20: The man said: This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This shall be called Woman, for from Man was she taken.
Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and cling to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
The two of them were naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.

The Priestly Blessing
And HaShem our G-D spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
Yivarechecha Adonai viyishmirecha
Ya’er Adonai panav elecha veechuneka
Yeesa Adonai panav elecha viyasem lecha shalom
“The L-d bless you and keep you;
The L-d make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The L-d lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
In HaShem and HaShem’s alone Mighty Glorious Name.
