How truly beautiful it is to gather together here—in this shared space, this little corner of the world that feels like both a blog and a living, breathing forum. Each of you brings something meaningful just by being here: your curiosity, your questions, your experiences, and your desire to grow. And honestly, that is something to celebrate.
I am so excited as we prepare for the next season of Rheena Velia Speaking G-d’s Grace Bible Study, where we come together to share what we are currently reading, learning, and discovering along the way. And let’s be honest… learning together like this? It’s actually so much fun. There’s something powerful about growing in community—where ideas are exchanged, questions are welcomed, and no one has to have all the answers.
Now, I want to say this clearly and with humility: I am not an expert, and I hold no formal degrees in these areas. What I do hold is a deep love for learning, researching, and seeking truth. This kind of self-driven study is often referred to as self-directed learning or autodidactic study—a practice that has been embraced by many renowned thinkers, leaders, and innovators throughout history. Figures like Leonardo da Vinci and Benjamin Franklin were known for their curiosity and commitment to learning beyond formal systems—and that tradition continues even today.
As we’ve discussed in previous Bible studies, recorded sessions, and live videos, one of the greatest lessons we come to understand is this: we cannot rely solely on the understanding or interpretations of others. While guidance is valuable, blindly depending on others can lead to confusion, misunderstanding, or even misdirection. History has shown us this time and time again. Even within the Tanakh, we are reminded of the importance of discernment and personal responsibility in seeking truth:
- “You shall not follow a multitude to do evil…” (Exodus 23:2)
- “The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.” (Proverbs 14:15)
These verses remind us that wisdom requires active engagement, not passive acceptance.
And so, this next series of blogs will come directly from my own journey of study—through life, goals, aspirations, self-improvement, and spiritual curiosity. Because if I’m being completely honest… there is still so much I don’t know. And that’s not discouraging—it’s exciting.
Experience, in my opinion, is one of the greatest teachers we have. Especially when experiences repeat themselves, they invite us to pause and ask: Why? What is this trying to teach me? This idea echoes throughout scripture and wisdom traditions. In Ecclesiastes we read, “What has been is what will be… there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9), reminding us that patterns exist for a reason—and understanding them brings clarity.

So, I began reading. Studying. Taking notes. Reflecting. Learning.
And let me tell you… I found it incredibly enriching.

From spiritual texts to philosophical works to even a few unexpected reads (yes… even the spicy ones 😂), every book offered something—whether clarity, questions, or a new perspective.
And after all that studying, I thought:
Why not make learning fun?
Because when learning is enjoyable, it becomes memorable. When it becomes memorable, it becomes lasting. And when it becomes lasting… it becomes part of who we are.
So yes—this season, we’re bringing in quizzes, reflections, discussions, and shared learning experiences. Let’s study. Let’s grow. Let’s explore.
Let’s… dare I say it… Make Learning Great Again 😄….. go ahead and dance!!!!! let it out shaky shaky!
As we move forward, this season will reflect not only what I learned during my sabbatical year, but also the blogs and reflections that were written during that time. This is a continuation—a deepening—of that journey.
We will also be returning to video content on platforms like Rumble and YouTube (as creativity and schedule allow), so be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications to stay connected.
This space is not about perfection.
It’s about growth.
